From what I remember, the moderators are scared that such a board would become a miniature Kiwifarms with doxxing. Which is pretty stupid because no one would really bother to dox on 4chan given its temporary nature and would probably just go here for dox.

As for board quality, it's very clear for /v/ atleast that low post quality is a feature and not a flaw given how even schizos like the vidyabutts poster who keeps posting that picture of AK-12 from Girl's Frontline have recognized that mods on /v/ are very slow to remove pornography that is aligned with their tastes e.g. raceplay.

With 4chan being little more than a pay-for-play marketing hub. Something like 30-50% real posters. /r9k/ is relatively okay in comparison since it still requires more human input instead of simply bot sliding.

I honestly don't think there is a single thing 4chan in 2024 has to offer that can't be found elsewhere.
