I checked /b/ for the first time in almost 10 years, and my god it's quite literally ALL porn(with the exception of some AI slop threads, a couple that are seething about Donald Trump for whatever reason, and some r9k tier blogposts). It's crazy that the board has been on this coomer life support for longer than it was an "ocean of piss" people remember fondly.
Checking some other boards I used to frequent, not much better. Garbage site with garbage people and no meaningful content. Makes me wonder what kind of subhuman discord using porn addicted niggers frequent the site day to day now, and how fucked in the head one would have to be to willingly call itself an "oldfag": That would imply that you have no problem with how the site is ran now if you're sticking with it, and yet you demand respect for wasting your life there longer than someone else(never mind that most people with opinions and skills worth a damn moved on to 8chan, something that still seems to trigger some of the mainstays on 4chan today)

8chan is dead, I am talking about the exodus and mid 2010s, back when 4chan started to die and people left in disgust. Today, 4chan has been dead for years and is only being kept around "Weekend at Bernie's" style as a honeypot by the feds and discord trannies. I can't imagine Hiro even makes any money off the site anymore, if he did he would at least pretend to care.
Better dead than whatever the hell this is.

Nothing ever dies any more. There is always another shekel to grind out of the stone. Even Myspace is still running in a zombie state.

I know it's already been said but it traffic really feel like it's collapse.

Read a thread in /tv/
Look at the catalog the next day and see it's still on the board.
"Wow must have been a lively discussion that kept it alive and near the top!"
Read the thread and see like just 3 new posts attached to it

Pretty sure threads used to get bumped off constantly. Now the board is just shambling almost dead with only bait and Baskin robbins keeping it alive.

When a board is filled with endless shit posting the traffic only comes from shit posters. Once they have driven everyone off and got bored there's no one left to post. /tv/ embraced shit posting and made it an identity after /b/ was replaced by /pol/

True, shouldn't have linked that thread, the thread worries me though because some people are defending shit, I've lately been seeing more zoosadist types on boards like /pol/ and /an/. This started with the BMT spam a couple years back.
