• They talk about things they'd supposedly already have talked about in detail with each other, but as if they're mentioning it for the first time and need to explain it, because this is made to be an admission to the viewers (that they aren't supposed to know exis)t, not an actual conversation
• They start monologuing about their evil plan like a cartoon villain wringing his hands, and then a short time later are supposedly already exposed and called out and already noticed it, it all happens too fast
• The shit about the indians is retarded nonsense. Why would they be paid in fucking Google Play cards? That's just for scamming people out of money while simultaneously making it as hard as possible to track the money or reverse the charge. You don't pay in fucking app store cards for DDoS services disguised as "website traffic boosters", so why the fuck would you for something completely legal like trolling retards on a cambodian pottery making site? And why the fuck would they be in your evil villain speech server too where you openly talk shit about them? They also can't decide whether they're delegating the posts to indians or they're the ones posting themselves and replying to each other

For example, with few exceptions (mostly one-sentence posts, even if quickly followed up by another post), they'll properly punctuate every sentence but they'll drop the punctuation at the end of the last sentence of their message if it's a period. You'd see a bit more variety in typing style among a group of actual different users, even just subtle differences
• This guy in particular really sucks at keeping these made-up characters separated. The same one asking how things are going in certain threads is the one explaining how they're going in those threads a couple messages later. No attention was paid to making this part sound natural, because he was too busy trying to think of a reason they'd suddenly be talking about their totallg real evil plan when they already know all the details anyway

Discords definitely play a part in ruining the site, but this shit about a discord full of boogeymen exposition dumping how they're totally responsible for every post you personally don't like is just retarded gayops every time. The real discords are usually made for threads they actually like, and slowly infect it with cliqueyness, drama, constant injokes and references, blogposting, general attention-seeking behavior, and other things that go against the nature of discussion on the site. In general, most boogeymen associated with any general thread are just made up to demonize whatever the most active sperg in the thread doesn't like.

I almost forgot about those retards from the late 2000's and early 10's. Part of what made it worse later on is a lot of boards becoming 50+% general threads because generals are just anon discord servers and they encourage cliquefagging.

IRC also had a bigger barrier of entry too, so its numbers seem more manageable in comparison to the infinite hordes of discord pedotrannies that spam the boards now.
