Yeah. It's probably a good thing but something's going to be missing if it goes away permanently.
What exactly happened in Hayate?
I'd like the cancer gone too but I'd rather have the DBZfags than visit r/anime any day.
The winner of the MCbowl was the author's favorite character instead of what everyone else wanted and he killed 3 or 4 arcs of character development in the process. It was one of the lesser fuck-yous to the community, and most people forget the series existed since the author memoryholes it.

Every niche board has normal users who are overrun by one or two overzealous ones and a slew of trolls who in any sane world would be moderated out of them, but the jannies instead just let them stay and almost seem to be actively enabling them.
/vg/ is also like this, jannies permacamping in a general like their fiefdom and allowing derails and off topic garbage spam but banning anyone pointing it out.

I'm glad whoever said that they banned the word soy because it was overused in 2016, thats just bullshit. what word does better calling out lefties except using the word soyboy? none. That was their point, censorship. That led teo this soyjak site and all of this. I wouldnt let them have it back until they uncensor the word soy.
And they let people troll you without bannign them,if you respond back to them and pwn them they will ban you and say you are trolling, when they NEVER ban troll posts.

So is 4chan just actually dead forever or is it just gonna be for a while?
As much as I would like to doompost and say 4chan got taken out permanently by a bunch of broccoli head script kiddies from a board they closed down years ago, I doubt it, it will take a while and presumably they're finally updating the codebase they haven't touched in over 10 plus years that let this happen in the first place.

It's gonna be gone for a bit but it will be back
Too big of a honeypot to dip out
Every single mod and janny hash is public, and I'm sure there will be mass resignations. Have to wonder how many retards will see this as a way to become a janny next if the site comes back
