That sucks to hear, I never went on /metal/ much. I remember having so much fun on kpg ten years ago, I was probably one of the last Wonder Girls fans.

/pw/ suffers from the same problem /co/ has, where the lack of anything good going on in the hobby has led to everyone either leaving entirely or purposely shitposting out of boredom. Look at those communities 15 years ago compared to now and it's like night and day.

The level of engagement was so much better when WWE programming had the semblance of a direction and consequences compared to the current "let's have these nobodies fight with barely any justification for doing so" stuff we get today.

The Sony execs probably don't even know this thing exists. All it did was get a small canadian indie studio a little upset and nothing else.

The fact that 4chan is not up again makes me think that they had no backups at all.
Should be relatively simple to get it back up and running on updated servers in no time if they had.

If the hacker had root access to the server they'd have to reinstall everything, and considering the shitshow that is 4chan's backend, I genuinely think nobody knows how to do it.
