Well, technically if you had the hashes, you couldn't strictly speaking turn it into a list of actual email addresses. But you could verify if an email address were in the leak. Assuming this is a legit thing (looks like it), it seems this is more of an anti-tranny janny thing anyway.

Also the janny emails are legit, they were stored in the clear. It's USER emails this post is discussing.

I haven't posted on 4chan in what feels like a decade now.

I remember the glory days, events like the Independence Day War, the Great Meme War, and HWNDU.

Going back further I remember when I was very young and new to the Internet. 4chan was like the boogeyman, a name whispered in the dark corners of other forums.

Am I sad to see it die? No, not really. It's been dying for years now, and it's best days were well behind it.

Still, it's the Internet hits a little different knowing it's not out there anymore. F.

If they bring a competent sysadmin, it would take 3 days at most to update. I have scammed the code, it's duct taped and dated. But not in a way that would hamper modernization, since PHP itself is dated.
