ED holds a special place in my heart as far as the Internet goes. I came across ED before 4chan. Just last week I cited ED in another thread. The Internet just doesn't feel whole without it to me.

I've heard this sentiment a lot in this thread, but I'd really like to know what makes 4chan any worse currently than Xitter, reddit, TikTok, Instagram or any of the other normalfag sites?

It's weird man. It's like if you grew up in a shitty slum house in a bad neighborhood with evil landlords, but even after moving out you might sometimes drive by and remember there might have been some good times mixed with the bad. Then one day you drive by and see the house was burned to the ground, and you're told, "Well it sucked so isn't this a good thing?".
Yeah it sucked but it still doesn't really feel great. No choice but to move on I suppose.

Half of the regulars in this thread before it got hacked were soyteens which is why it seems like a lot of people want the site to be shut down.
