I appreciate the heads up though I think others get slightly more offended by this on my behalf. /a/ use to be good for weekly manga spoilers/discussions, those went to shit.

It was the only board I still checked with any regularity because it was sometimes good to just scroll and see if something new had captured the meta's attention worth checking out, and get a sense of it's content or theme before investing any time or money on it. I honestly can't think of a decent replacement for that with such quick access and relatively easy browsing options. It's the only thing of any marginal value that was lost.

yes. candid discussion, argueing with retards and posting oc was all I did there. debate even in internet shitposting form is a helpful way to check your logic on something. eventually the anons worth having real conversations with left because of the spam and derails so I just stopped trying.
It felt like over the last year in particular, almost all of the active users that I recognized had filtered out and been replaced by new ppeople. Hell it seems like a third of the refugees here haven't posted in years.
