The biggest turn off for me is reddits format for organizing posts. How the fuck can you have a discussion when the only thing you see is an algorithmic result of seals clapping. Whatever makes the seals clap their fins hardest is at the top, and then nested pages of random posts in no particular order.

Reddit isn't a discussion forum by any metric. It's retards circle jerking each other to get their midwit zinger to the front of the line so everyone sees it.

What's terrifying is Google is training it's AI on those morons

I dunno, sometimes I pretend to be a C programmer, but I'm really making an analogy to PHP.

PHP is such a vulnerable and inconsistent language that in order to ever deploy anything in it, you need to know webappsec to a fairly intimate degree or else you're gonna get fucked real quick.

Broke-assed vulnerable as fuck languages force you to learn security as a matter of due course, so if you make everyone learn these broke-ass languages, they'll intrinsically learn security, or else cease to have public facing projects.

If you moved on Xenforo what would you move the site to? The only form templates I know are Xenforo and Tapatalk and I know the latter won’t touch KF with a 10 foot pole

i'll expand on what i said. i respect anyone that finds ways to accomplish their goals no matter what. i saw the kf debacle and even though it didn't affect me i hated it. for me freedom of speech is paramount. along with dancing mikus. i was not one of the trolls hoping kf would be taken down or w/e if you are wondering. there's a 4chan hivemind sure but even the hivemind tells you to stop being a drone.

I can't believe I joined a little bit before Kiwifarms potentially becomes a predominating force on the internet. It makes me wonder if this place will experience the same fate 4chan went through. I trust Null is autistic and schizo enough to not let that happen. The worst case scenario is that the UN realizes his affinity for cheese. Then we're all fucked.
