They're around, among both new and old users. KF isn't the sort of environment where you can hold it over peoples' heads as a threat though, so there's no point making it the center of your personality, and unless you're grooming kids or something people either won't notice a tranny here or won't care. It's just a very different kind of environment here. The power they hold in other kinds of spaces doesn't exist here, so there's nothing advantageous about being one, and therefore no reason to constantly bring it up in every discussion.

so someone was talking about plagued threads earlier - trying to classify this particular thread as one, what is that with respect to the rest of the threads? also what's the distinction between infected/diseased/plagued? also testing image uploading.

that site seems to have fallen farther than I thought. I wasn't using it because Mark has a history on 8chan. He had a cabal of guys that ran multiple boards and he used to ensure that anyone banned from /v/ would be banned from all the other boards as well, or at least persecuted by the jannies. There was a whole big exposé on it and it was a big deal but somehow this was the faggot who got most of the traffic when 8chan went down

I'll namedrop endchan again, I don't use it but at least the administrator isn't a known serial dipshit

Because people have literally no clue how stuff like nuclear plants work which is fine but yeah lol. IIRC from when I was a kid and toured one basically most of the actual important equipment is analog anyway regardless of the monitoring instruments. The control mechanisms for the production are the same as other nuclear related shit (Nuclear missile forces for both U.S. and Russia use old hardware to limit potential failures) where they made something solid in the late 20th century and kept rolling with it, floppy disks and all. Some of the shit that matters is manual. It's essentially impossible for bad guys to sabotage a nuke plant without physically going there and doing it in person.

TL;DR whenever the media/LE says stuff about Iran or China le hacking our power plants what they mean is the company's accountant accidentally bricked an office computer looking for gay clown scat porn.

The webring was larger than Mark's site. Mark only has his gamergate general friends and everyone else went to 4chan or the webring until it splintered. Mark bans people too often to make any new community members stick.

Just a general, sliding indicator for how much of a thread's subject are active participants in the thread and how volatile the discussion tends to be (causing lots of slapfights, spilling out into other threads, things like that). That's how I've always understood them.

every time i check this thread there's another 9001 posts from oldtroons bragging about how their board/thread schizo is totally legendary and so much worse and more unique than everyone else's (they aren't), or they are dumping screencaps of the same boring shit ass greentext stories or threads everyone has seen before. I am deeply suspicious that sharty is some kind of glowie adjacent faggot. This way tptb have plausible deniability for taking the board down. They do not want us to be able to co-ordinate on a global scale anymore. We were actually very effective at shifting narratives and pulling off things IRL. This is not what is wanted by the people in power.

1) We will never be able to co-ordinate Syrian airstrikes from a board like this, for example. Not knocking KF, it's just too niche.
2) We will never be able to play a globe-spanning game of capture the flag from a board like this.
3) We will never be able to launch trolling campaigns like "freebleeding" from a board like this.

The anons have been scattered to the four winds. I don't think we will ever be able to consolidate ever again. I am sad too. Keeping your card on you is the best we can do.
