They're probably among you here without realizing, to be honest. And forums imo provide a much deeper sense of community than an imageboard, at least in my experience. Name/avatarfagging might be a bit different than the culture you're used to, but stick with it here and you'll find yourself fitting right in I'm sure.
idk something about recognizing each other through the anonymity was so special. waaaahhhh i miss them

It's strange
That one post in this thread about how we have been arguing with bots this entire time makes more sense when I look at the post statistics of any alt chan and this thread and new members
4chan supposedly had a traffic of over 200,000 a day
But what's becoming clear is there was maybe 10,000 organic posters MAX
We have been spending years screaming at jeets, five eyes and bots
why wouldn't you think you're arguing with bots on 4chan though? The site is designed for sanctioned spam. All incentives support spam and all disincentives are against organic posters. A bot doesn't even need to type a captcha while you sit there getting carpal tunnel and squinting at a fucking drag bar, it has a 4chan pass and it can post as much as it wants.

my 3090ti can generate text with a 20B Llama model (I last used mlewd-remm-l2-chat-20b-inverted.Q6_K) as fast as I can type. With just one reasonably powerful desktop computer I could simulate a person sitting in front of his screen typing furiously 24 hours a day without needing to stop to think, ever type a backspace or make a spelling error that requires correction, take a break, eat, sleep, etc. It only costs 250 watts of electricity to do that.

All you need is one NGO with 30 desktop computers and gaming video cards and 90% of 4chan traffic is bots instantly.

I could personally flood any 4chan board into oblivion by putting my air conditioner in my window and using my laptop for shitposting instead of my desktop.

there were like 40,000 comments on the 4chan entry on downdetector last I checked

I think they are literally in the comments on the downdetector page talking to each other like downdetector is the new 4chan
Our unwavering will never ceases to amaze me 🫡 give em hell boys

Gotcha, I wanted to brag about a find. Most autistic purchase seems to fit the bill though. Thank you!
If you feel like a thread related to good finds might be in order, feel free to make one. As has been said in the past some of the most fun threads have come out of new users who had something interesting to talk about.

I can't wait for every catalog to be half reposting mod and janny info and half this.

Really it's just a matter of first looking at a subforum and getting the vibe for what kinds of threads exist in it. They all have descriptions under their names. Then just check out an OP, highlight hop a little through popular posts (the ratings system here is actually useful since you'll be taken straight to important, on-topic updates, memes about the topic, or a slapfight that turns into one of the two), then hang out in the most recent pages to get a feel for what's up.

I would also strongly recommemd the community happenings thread that is user driven. This gives you a large range of different happenings that might peak your interest. The site is pretty large, with a lot of different content and this can give you a good point to start with.

Another thing you might enjoy checking out is Null's stream that's on rumble, kick and some other sites. He talks about everything that has happened that week in terms of lolcows. Some politics and random stuff included too. If you like it, there also is an enormous backlog of streams going back years. It's called Mad at the Internet.

Man reading this thread has kind of reminded me how bad the entire site had it with schizos and shitty moderation. It's also reinforced my theory that they let schizos do what they want in threads they want discouraged and ban anyone reporting the off topic sperging. LOL threads on /v/ are a great example of the mods letting some fur-nigger spam some shitty ass comic every time one would pop up. He did it for years and never got anything more than a three day ban.
I have a burning hatred for anything related to that comic because of that poster. I can feel my blood pressure spike every time I see one of those rat things.

But would people be interested in a weird nuclear power plant design or would Null be upset that it might get even more feds to peruse his site? Asking for a friend.

Anti-christian threads would also stay at the top
The shills raided /x/ because they were getting rekt by dyor anons on /pol/ pointing out with stats that atheists were the most jewed demographic worldwide
The entire reason fedora shills raid 4chan is because
A. Troons and fags greatest threat is Christianity
B. Trump got the majority Christian voter base
That's all there is to it
Statistically religious communities, despite any quote of Galatians spammed, were the most anti immigrant and race mixing demographics globally
Five eyes see them as a threat, thus the armies of online jeets, jews and fat fedora tippers raiding the site
But their invasion of /x/ infuriated me until I saw so many level headed /x/posters calling them out
But still jannies failed in their duty to pull these shills, because it becomes obvious trolling when you roll into any x thread and start casting infinity doubts on shit you never researched or care about
It became an obvious "why the fuck are you even here?" Campaign
Imagine being the guy that kicks in every door on Christmas to scream at children Santa isn't real

About bots.

I distinctly remember a series of posts that always without fail flowed like this always near or at page 10. Why? Fuck if I know. But I DO know it was common place enough for me to notice this. Had to go looking in the archives for my original screenshot post since I deleted it long ago.

4chan being made up of literal bots and jeets has been a thing for quite a while now.

Stick with us and you'll be fine. Null, the owner, might hate us, but he hates us in the same way you "hate" your dog for shitting on your floor.
Agreed, people that just came over here may not understand the importance of the cow, but the rule to don't tip the cow is a very important one, not only just for the site being widely available (because don't tip them in their favors of blaming a thing but themselves), but is most highly rewarding when you see their control fall apart. Likening of dominos knocking the foundation they've built upon.
Or just randomly weird shit like a guy trying to get with his daughter, and he ended up arrested in the middle of an RV rest area.
