I have a question about the "no double posts" rule (???).

Is this an actually rule or more of an etiquette thing? I understand how this applies to short replies, but in my case I sometimes find wanting to respond to snippets from 5-8 posts (out of dozens) and in a slow or typical thread this means I either write a "wall" post (despite trying to use enough line breaks) or I make one post, wait for someone else to reply, and finish my thoughts in a second post.

Also I realized that there actually a single place for rules on this site that I intend to read in completion, but a quick scan did not offer any advice about "double posting".

I really think people underestimate their food intake. If you’re not gaining any weight, you aren’t eating enough. If you’re not getting a lot (plenty of different metrics, but 1g per 1lbs of bodyweight is likely more than you need, but a good target). I’d just stick to a big compound movement program like 5x5 Stronglift since it’s basically retardproof.
 
yeah i get that but it's like, i went 3 times a week for 6 months and i still don't get what i did wrong
you did nothing wrong, just not enough and didnt understand it takes years. ive been doing this off and on since the marines, but seriously since 2013. i didnt hit a two plate bench until a few years ago. it takes time and programs and mind.
its a total journey
the plus side is it takes like 45 min a day m-f to do. not much. more if you run after like i do. i didnt like running until i trained to join the french foreign legion
 
I think Hiro might be looking to sell at this point. In which case, who would buy it? I think most potential buyers would fundamentally change the site.
I don't know who'd want it. The reputation is far too toxic for most, and in its current state it'd be weeks of work going over poorly documented, decade old code with a fine toothed comb looking for vulnerabilities before you can put it back up. Even in a best case scenario it's gonna be a long time before the 4chan pass and ad revenue recovers.

i am fat so i can't really tell if i was gaining weight or not but i felt like i was at the same weight

Gaining weight requires high fat gram intake
You can literally manage your weight by fat and carb intake
If you are trying to gain weight in fat cells
Then you need minimum 100+ grams of fat per day
The only reason to go higher is if you plan to block roads

thats ok mane! you just need to work it, and try eating less. its ok to not do it everyday, you have to discover you dont need it. your hunger is not from actual hunger, its from a hormone called ghrelin, which signals "hunger" -eg, time to eat, bc this is when you normally eat. so, if you change your routine, your hunger in 2 days will fully change to reflect it.
with this knowledge you can alter food intake.

I actually have no idea how people can stand steak I literally cannot eat it it tastes disgusting (I have a feeling that people are gonna be like you just haven't had a good steak but I really have had good steaks from good places and I just do not like them)

yeah i just never bothered trying to lose weight because i kept reading oh you may as well just start lifting and keep your food intake the same because if you eat on a deficit you won't gain muscle and in retrospect i wish i just spent the 6 months dieting instead
