I can't post because Capcha is broken, is this a new Hirojew premium feature?

How can anyone trust 4chan after being found out it's a literal (instead of a suspected) CIA glownigger honeypot

But it's clear that mods/jannies are trying to kill such niches and discussions in favor of turning the board into their own little plaything.
Which has been the MO for the entirety of the chans. If the govs and other outside interests cannot steer the conversation to what the gov wants, let some of the worst people manage it. It still fails but the chans have become quite foul regardless.

Not a fan of the butchery they've done to /gif/ amongst other boards. /pol/ in particular is one nasty government sanction flood.

Just curious, does all the /tg/ drama have to do with the tranny community trying to force themselves into the 40k lore?
Short answer; no. It goes far beyond any singular game, setting, or system.

The best way I can explain it is that the people in charge of /tg/ are grognards to the absolute extreme. At least in the context of TTRPGs, their vision is one where all we do is go from featureless room to featureless room and fighting monsters. No roleplay. No discussion. No story.

It does go beyond this however, with alot of specific games having their own resident lapdog or moderation approved retard to spam low quality garbage or try to start fights. Some examples include;
>Martial vs Caster thread #2758783
>"Obvious Bullshit Story I Just Made Up For Clicks"
>"Obvious Content Farming Thread"
>"Political Bullshit Thread #10bajillion"

The post quality of the board just went to the fucking gutter, filled with retards and trolls who would make the most ridiculous leaps in logic and bad faith perspectives just to start fights.

The Jannies and Mods actively knew this. Promoted it even. As long as it aligned with their ideals they let the shitflinging run rampant.

They can hide the servers behind a proxy so that no SSH access will be possible without connecting from a very specific IP address. So no, I don't think it will be hacked anymore, assuming they've hardened their network infrastructure.
You don't need SSH. If they can get RCE through some other vuln, you could write your payload to setup a tunnel, and then route a revshell through the tunnel. And you can setup that tunnel to use well known ports that the site would be expected to have open, or build your payload to internally portscan and figure out a good port to use.

If they set their tunnel up to be encrypted and route it over a well known encrypted port like 443, it would be pretty hard to detect unless they have endpoint detection that simply stops the exploit code from running in the first place on the host itself.

nice imageboard retards

I’ve never been able to post a single thing on 4chan. I’ve used other image boards (even ones run by True and Honest women,) forums, and between IP bans, VPN bans/unbans, broken captchas, timing out, it’s such a deeply broken website. I’ve been lurking since 2009 because neither desktop nor mobilefagging work.

Love you, kiwifrens. I can’t post photos right now, but at least I can sneed.

It has become abundantly clear to me over the past year or so that the mods/jannies want to keep /tg/ aligned with certain narratives. Alot of them are actively hostile, negative, or simply promote shitflinging. Just like Reddit, /tg/mods have a very specific dedication to what they think tabletop SHOULD be, and will actively protect anyone who attacks dissenters because it drives those people away.
This is the case for most TTRPG spaces online in general. There are a few okay ones oriented towards game design in places like Discord or random forums but given the nature of those platforms it's already obvious what you can expect. Where /tg/ is retro to the max in the most faggoty way, most modern places are so far in the opposite direction that you've got people legitimately arguing about what a "game" even is, and if a TTRPG "needs to be one". (Pro Tip: it does.) The kinds of people that make "solo journaling RPG's about a transgender journey of self discovery" and think it's actually high art.
It breaks my heart because the handful of times I found some of the "normal" folk left on /tg/ the discussions are still wonderful.
I have met some fantastic people on 4chan. Despite having the reputation it does, I've only ever had positive personal experiences with people I've met. Ironically, people from places like Reddit or Twitter tend to be significantly more "toxic" and aggressive. A pain in the ass to deal with really.
And worst of all, like you said, where the fuck do you go?
Before the /tg/ thread I mentioned a while ago got nuked, people there seemed generally acclimated towards the idea of going to 8chan.moe or here. Kiwifarms has a relatively okay TTRPG thread and spaces for wargaming discussion. There's a thread for it on 22chan run by some guy LARPing as a wizard that's dead and that's where our options lie. Pick your poison, none of them are perfect, but it's better than RPGpub.
Just curious, does all the /tg/ drama have to do with the tranny community trying to force themselves into the 40k lore?
Sort of, but 40k is only a fragment of the scene and a really fucking annoying one at that. I prefer to ignore it and wargaming in general. Aside from that however, there's also huge amounts of drama and controversy surrounding games like D&D 5e or random shit like Cyberpunk or indie titles, which I'm completely in the dark about. There's actually a thread about this very subject on our very helpful benefactors Kiwifarms.st website right now that you can go and read about it if you're interested.

This was the most frustrating part of /tg/ and quite literally the cut that killed the cat. It's such an engaging and interesting hobby that there's an endless ocean of things to say about it but the moderation was deadset on making sure NOTHING of quality was posted, EVER.
