10 days doesn't seem enough to fix all the egregious shit wrong with the code, especially since the last time it was updated in any meaningful sense was 2015.

The real solution was to create a 4chan of Theseus (entire codebase rewrite) but instead they just slapped a bandaid on.
If it was imperative to get the site back on asap, then ideally you'd do the bandaid but also be working in the background on that code rewrite asap. I really doubt that is what's going on with these bums though.
The attitude towards the users post-launch tells me everything about how they're handling this.
