More like waiting 4 days for a reply. With that said, I have to strongly disagree with this take. Not everything online needs to be a dopamine machine with thousands of posts per second. Sometimes slow is good. It gives you time and space to digest the conversation. Also, the quality of users will always win over the quantity of users. A smaller base is more likely to follow board etiquette. You have a better chance of building a community with a small but consistent userbase. I could go on and on about the benefits of small niche communities, but you get the idea.
Modern day altchan users don't have the quality that 8chan was known for at one point anymore, they are only slightly better than 4channers and sometimes they are no better. I will not wait 4 days to get a reply from a cuckchanner if I can get the same reply in less than a minute on 4chan. This is a romanticized take that I once had, but over the years that quality that I was seeking was simply gone, these same posters left the altchans and let them be filled with pedos and retards in their wake. Hence why I made an account here 2 years ago, altho in retrospect I should have done so earlier.

4chans lawyers dropped this in response to ofcom threatening non compliance penalties.

>try to make a post on /vst/ while on vacation
>banned apparently
>check out why

Great, there's now a non-zero chance for having a nonce from 4chan having slept in the same bed I'm sleeping in or him being the owner of the building.
I was at an airport once and was on /trv and tried to post, and what would you know, the airport IP was banned for pedoshit.
When I was in Osaka in Japan, the entirety of the place seemed rangebanned. It was crazy.
Mount Fuji was similar, although Tokyo was completely fine.

Ah, a classic: shtiposters making the board so bad that now they have to suffer their own company since they chased off all valuable contributors ages ago. It's like Zimbabwe would be a website.
not only that but the people with power to keep these faggots away actively encourage them and hunt down anyone that dares say otherwise.
also indians having janitorial powers to shit up everywhere.

possibly the most hilarious part of this thread is that you will all continue to use 4cuck despite your deep rooted hatred toward the site and the moderation.
Most of the thread regulars (barring the rapefugee crisis when it got hacked) haven't used it in literally years.

I only use it through the 4plebs archive. No wasting my time talking to schizophrenic mullatos, no tranny jannies, just the ability to collect any good memes posted and move on with my day

I tried but the catalog was so horrid I haven't felt the desire to reengage. Whatever good posters 4chan had, are gone after the hack.

I only browse the niche game boards or threads occasionally since fuck if I am going to do so on the dead webring boards. Even 8moe /v/ is dead usually outside the Gamergate General(not videogames) and the few anime/gacha generals that made it their bunker when the hack happened. What can I say, Fallout/Elder Scrolls discussions are actually better than here since posters there usually not actually play the games, but have done so for years. Less reddit/uneducated/dogshit opinions there and you don't have to explain basic things anyone who plays these games should know already either. /vrpg/ and /vst/ in general are nice boards too since you can actually talk about video games there. I guess /pol/ is a decent news bulletin, not a place to post but check the catalog occasionally to see what's going on around the world.

Otherwise, yeah, not much to talk about as far as using the site goes. It's shit, not worth using, but there is still a few places there which actually do their job, despite the site having fallen apart. Kind of like going to a poor third world country or a balkanized eastern european country nobody has ever heard of, most of it is garbage but you will occasionally see a nice small village that just lives their lives in relative comfort, without having to worry about burdens of the civilized world or the rest of their country is going thru. You take what you can get, diamond in the sea of piss and what have you.

Also, nu-sharty sucks so look who's talking. How much has the sharty thread grown here just from the sheer amount of refugees? Enough to get it's own moderation, that's how much.

/v/ is in a bad state, but it beats discussing videogames with resetera or discord. The mods are a criminal gang intent on running the place into the ground however.

/diy/ and other hobby boards are fine and low in troons and Jews.

I lurked here during the downtime and haven't gone back since, it was mostly a habit by then and I don't miss it at all.

I haven't touched the site coming to half a year now. I'd stop slowly using it as much over the years before that.

/v/ was the first board I stopped using, I really don't know how anyone can stand that place. /v/ is simultaneously over-moderated and under-moderated.

You're not the only one. Plenty of people who didn't care about Gamergate still migrated to 8chan simply to have a better place to discuss video games. I wager this alone was enough to elevate it into the 4chan competitor rather than another no-name altchan. It worked for a few years too, not really reliving the golden years of that board but close at it's peak.
