SNCA report: Since mid-2021, half if not more of /v/'s gacha ERP threads have been made and bumped by one Mexican. How can you tell? If a filename is around three or more spaced, lowercase words, it's most definitely him, the jannies' greatest disciple.

These links demonstrate only a portion of the autism:
I don't know if anyone ever calls him out, I just remember him typing "nigga" a lot when he's not ERPing. So if you've wondered about these threads and their popularity browsing the catalog, there you go.

If I had to guess, they were probably tweaking the software that handles the "your IP has been blocked" stuff, since a lot of people seemed to be complaining about it recently.
IP Range bans?
iirc one from a week or few back also happened the same time as desuarchive was also suddenly maintenancing too
Yeah, that was also a sudden thing for a few hours.

Do you use the 4chanx filename randomizer?
I saw this thread (archive) where the topic was brought up. I'd heard about it before but I've never used 4chanx and the randomizer seems retarded to me unless you're a spammer. Since that thread it's really been in my mind and I'll check the OP images in repeat threads to see if they were actually posted when the time indicates. Pretty frequently I'll find that they weren't. The whole thing has made me think about the composition of various 4chan boards. IIRC there was an old twitter statistic saying that a massive proportion of posts are made by a tiny percentage of users. I wonder if it's similar on boards like /tv/. If you look at individual threads, how many posters are actually in them? Did they ever give a reason for the IP counter removal?

I dunno, the " I just bought [product] What am I in for?" OPs piss me off more. Just play the fucking game first before getting your validation you niggerfaggot
I refuse to believe those types of threads like that are even made by real people, especially the "recommend me some vidya" threads, and aren't just being used to scrap up posts for training data to make more. They're junk threads just blurting out opinions/answers and I get no sense that OP (if real) is even taking notes or gives that much of a shit anyway. No, I'm not going to share what monitor I use when playing games or screencap my backlog because it's none of your fucking business. Most times when I ask why they want to know, I don't get an answer.
Thats bad but nowhere near as bad as someone posting a social media or reddit screencap from random faggot/bot of the day and just using that to farm outrage or discuss something completely unrelated to the rest of the site.
This one's annoying, the latter part especially. The ironic, cheeky behavior even to spite the tranny jannies or trigger shitposters has never been funny to me and the repetitiousness just makes it even more grating. In general, the childish attention seeking on 4chan is just really irritating that you'd think it was made up of mostly bitchy teenagers and not socially stunted adults in their mid 30s to late 40s and beyond, who act like insecure, passive-aggressive, catty faggots 24/7.
When someone doesn't get what they want on there, they'll say things to no one in particular hoping to get replies, ask benign ice breaker questions that've been answered so many times already in other threads throughout the years and of course when all else fails, samefag to keep the thread alive until they get bored.

Another thing that gets my goat is a lot of people don't Sage their posts.
If people can't help themselves and just HAVE to reply to bait threads just to call OP a faggot, they should at least not give shitposters the satisfaction of having everyone else see low quality/inflammatory threads at the top of the catalog. It's even worse when they're close to archiving and some faggot goes in there after hours of inactivity and bumps it for teh lolz. Also, people who say "Sage isn't a down vote" baffles me. Why does that still matter to some?

That concept seems to have been dead since they got rid of it being viable and the majority of users either don't use it anyway, don't even know it exists or were duped into thinking the function's turned off. Even then, rules outside of porn/cp/etc. are hardly enforced anyway, so even saying Sage out loud is a drop in the bucket by comparison to the rest of the garbage that's posted on the daily. To me, it seems like the only reason why it was cracked down on in the early years was because shitposters - likely a Mod - got their threads "Sage bombed" and whined to Moot about it.

I've made threads on /pol/ before about White victims of black crime and had the entire thread be derailed by two obvious bots that argue with each other, getting in the way of real posters and shitting up the thread. I reported them for being a bot, as it is against the rules and was very obvious, nothing happened. This site I imagine doesn't have a bot problem at least not in that way.

Can you get a captcha again without enabling ads? I got a knackering for making janny lives miserable again, but no way am I gonna bother changing my browser or settings for it. Cuckchan ain't worth it.

btw, this is the sports board and someone was asking for a stream
it's board culture to make fun of stream beggers :pinetar:
4chan mods don't know board culture because they're literally fucking redditors.

That's always why I used it. It was when I felt my own post was worthless enough it shouldn't bump the thread.

I'm tired of these fags on 4chan bitching about their memes getting discovered by Twitter fags.
Like, the fuck did you think was gonna happen? Someone made a funny image, and people shared it on a public form.

Like these fags just can't adsept their gay culture is not a secret anymore. But instead of moving on they continue to bitch and moan that Twitter tards found another one of their precious memes.

>You don't get it man, muh culture
Why should anyone respect 4chan culture? Because it was the birthplace of a lot of shit? These people defend loli and seethe every time you call them a pedo. None of these fags are worth respecting, let alone their culture.

Oh sure, twitter fags are well...fags, but if you didn't want people to know about your stupid inside jokes, you would keep it an inside joke. But doing that goes against the idea of what memes are.

Call me a fag if I'm in the wrong or whatever, just wanted to get this out here because I swear it happens every day.

They are angry because they ARE the twitter fags who thought they were part of some sekrut club, when in reality that hasn't been the case for over a decade now. LARPING tourists angry because their twitter friends found their shitty memes, same energy as a little boy getting angry that his mother made him invite a girl into his "no gurlz allowed" treehouse.
>4chan culture
What culture? cuckchan was already a festering piece of shit even back in 2012, let alone 15 years after that. The exodus happened for a reason, and it probably would have happened even without gamergate. These retards weren't even born when 4chan had something resembling a culture.

That's always why I used it. It was when I felt my own post was worthless enough it shouldn't bump the thread.
Rarely ever do I bump threads anymore, especially genuine OPs and/or with effort posts, because of potential shitposting/schizos to rain on everyone's parade and derail the discussion. Sometimes I'll pity bump or comment to give OPs some acknowledgment of their existence, but often times I just reply and then let the thread quietly archive.
I can't remember if they reverted it, if not, it might be harder to detect.
The 7 - 10ish boards I've browsed I've only ever known it to be subtle, where you'd have to either check the catalog or the page count in the thread after a post was made and see it didn't bump the thread up several pages and I assume it's the same for most if not all boards, excluding /b/, since I've seen some anons say it's turned off there. In general though, I really do think the reason it's hardly used anymore is mainly becasue the majority of users -- mainly newfags -- just don't know about it or were somehow lead to think Saging's turned off wholesale -- which is what I've seen most people say -- whereas the rest don't think about it too deeply or care that much.
