4chan turned brown. Even threads not explicitly about waifu posting turn into waifuposting. You can tell they're indians because they post some absolutely garbage slop and repost images into versions animated by AI.

That said, there's always been a fat fag population on 4chan. Chubby threads on /b/ were turned into fatfag threads, thicc posting turned into fat posting, etc.

I thought the cumbrain spam was annoying when it first started but those anons were right. IMO it is all connected. A group of dedicated spammers that spend the majority of their time trying to force their fetishes onto the media boards. They usually spearhead it with some catchy meme phrase or pic to try and soften the blow of whatever aberration they're forcing. I'd buy the site in a heartbeat if I had the money. I don't think it's recoverable, but I really want to see what's natural and what's the same few people reposting.
 
So am I just retarded or have they made the captcha too fucking hard? I tried to post the other day and struggled with the captcha for three minutes before managing to complete it, only for the thing to demand I send them my email. Hell no.

My pfp came from 4chan. There was a brief spell in 2024 when some very creative AI gens were being produced on there. I asked why they were giving away art 24/7 and they said they didn't care, so I thought, fuck it then, I'm keeping the ones I like for future pfps.

/vr/ has been inundated with RE1 spam for weeks and the jannytroons do nothing. One of my (near endless) pet-peeves with the 4chan moderation is how they often act stupid so they can ignore the problem, "uhmm but what IF the 40 RE threads that are up right now are actually very organic discussion by 40 different posters? then it would be unfair to enforce the rule against spamming/flooding!", basically the pretending not to understand things meme in janitorial form. And then they delete perfectly normal threads for no reason, but never the fucking spam that's obvious for everyone to see to the point the threads are filled with people complaining about the constant spam. I hate them so much.

Apparently it's off topic to have threads talking about AI in animation on /a/. Yes, talking about the actual anime industry is grounds for a public ban. Granted OP used a reddit image (and appears to be a spammer), but the vitriol in the thread tells me that these guys get mad when they're reminded of the real world away from their idols and shonenslop

1) 4chan is much more brown now
2) 4chan was always coomer central, it's just more visible now that all the normal people left
3) 4chan now attracts nothing but trash, you shouldn't be surprised when the garbage brings their shitty fetishes along with them

Partially because it is "safer" now, norms will go to it (I think) just to spam it up and purposely make it worse. It lost its aura of a scary bad place so they feel comfortable going there to shit it up further. /b/ used to be full of dead bodies and gore, now its just porn and log posts.
