I’m with you. It is none of Congress’s business what is posted on /pol/, let alone the rest of 4chan; but the Democrats want ammunition to justify a 230 crackdown and “eat a dick” would be exactly what they’d use against 4chan and the Farms.
I would be willing to bet an obscene amount of money that 4chan is hosted at least in part by feds. A while ago some staff basically spilled the beans that glowers have direct moderator access to /b/ and possibly other boards. There have been a few discussions around the Utah data center but the only thread I can think of that seemingly had proof got nuked by jannies really fast and isn't archived. There was some additional circumstantial evidence of fed involvement around the time moot left but I can't remember what it was about now.
There is one guy on /p/ that I'm really tempted to make thread about. For contex: /p/ is photography board. It is very small and very slow board. Most of the time it feels like there are like 20 people there. It is also full archived.
And there is one guy, moop - who despite being fully doxed and having really recognizable writing style (unsuprisingly, very smug), can't stop trolling every single day.
Example of moop post:
Of course, 4chan being anonymous and /p/ having no poster id, there isn't a smoking gun evidence that given post is really his. However, combination of talking points, using japanese emoticons, specific wording and ways of writing post combined with really pathetic number of posters on /p/ (on average less than 1 new thread a day) makes him easy to spot on.
When confronted about it, he often replyed mockingly
>the is only one guy
and attached a pic of schizo wojak.
However, it was this image that make it apparent that there is only one guy, as putting it's hash into search revealed he used the same image over and over and over again, proving that there is only one guy.
He's obsessed about 2 things - gear and isi. Gear refers to his constant need of telling that his camera is better than anybody else. He would spam bait thread daily about "is x better than y" just to storm in with smugposting how his x is much, much better because of some charts and measurements.
isi however is a photographer who's been really active and long story short, she rejected him, causing massive amount of drama.
As a result, even though there have been years (?) since that event, he consonantly needs to get into her thread and try his best to get under her skin, often pretending to be multiple persons. This is some really shizo shit, as this obsession has been going through really long time.
I really like threads like this because it's so difficult actually to get full info on 4chan posters. The site is packed to the brim with absolute utter lolcows but thanks to moot's genius when he created it (albeit by ripping off its Japanese origin), it almost protects these idiots against their will.
It really takes a special kind of cow to overcome the built-in protection and somehow become a notorious lolcow on a site with forced anonymity, unless you're an absolute retard and insist on being a tripfag.

Thing is, that's the only kind of reply they could reasonably get to such a request, the only difference being how politely said reply would be worded. As you, me and just about anyone who knows anything at all about 4chan clearly understands, the information the Dems in the legislature want simply does not exist for 4chan to give out.

At some point you have to draw the line and "eat a dick" is kind of a line. How long do you wait before you quit surrendering? At some point you just give up and die. At some point you just have to go to "eat a dick" as the line. I wouldn't blame nool if he chooses to give up at that point, but at some point, just go fuck yourself is really the line. You either do that or you just give up and chop your dick off and give it to the enemies.
Hiro should just ignore the whole thing or reply in his Hiro fashion by pretending to be retarded and writing a 'sorry, i dun understand' letter in bad English.
I haven't seen evidence that this person has any other interest than television. He'd been doing some Discworld "discussion" for a while, but it was all about worldbuilding trivia. Good Omens is the only Terry Pratchett property he talks about as a STORY with CHARACTERS, and only after the Amazon original was released.
In this thread he asks about the M:TG color of different characters, nearly all his requests were about children's cartoons or famous belief systems.
That new captcha is a nightmare, it shouldn't take me a dozen fucking tries just to post once and I'm not paying money to post on a site I post so rarely on.
I guess after 15 years my days as a 4chan user, as infrequent as it was currently, are finally over, kind of sad.

I don't think it's too terrible once you get used to it. The most annoying part is how you need to type something and can't just absent-mindedly click around.
Incidentally, it doesn't work on my mobile browser at all so it may have some level of anti-phoneposter functionality built into it.
