Depends. Do they have to be actual hormones or just the sugar pills someone gave Chris?

Both! At first i just wanted to know what the real deal costs but Chris strikes me as the kind of person that would skimp on even this and get the cheapest beans he could.

Nuance. This is Robbie who takes hormones, not necessarily Chris at this time. At least he seemed aware that he needed to see a doctor to be prescribed an hormonal treatment for a sex-change.

Given that legit hormones require a recommendation from a psychiatrist, which itself requires at least a few months of sessions, I'd say about 0%. Chris has way too much pride to ever go to a shrink. That being said, Chris could have gone to an informed consent clinic. They tell you the risks and give you hormones. So they are legit in that they come from a reputable establishment, but they still bypass the traditional channels. If Chris did somehow get them from an actual doctor, it was almost certainly clandestine.
