Leave it to Phil to keep replying because his ego cannot take the beating it is receiving right now.

Imagine what this is like from Kat's perspective, all he had to do was keep his mouth shut for 4 days, but no on the second day their staycation is already ruined. You saw what they talked about in her reveal video, they talk about "detractors" she knows she gets called a horse-face, I can only imagine how much Phil is going to talk her ear off now about how he was right and the community is abusing "the last honest guy in gaming".

So for summary: calls out streamers who got the game early as paid shills, because a "concerned viewer" messaged him, hands presumably rough worn from all the worry they'd done, wondering how he'd possibly be able to make any money off SoD2 now that it will have been in the wild for a few days, and he - being the real and honest fellow that he is, consumed by passion and gin - took to Twitter to lament this state of affairs. Smugly, and not with a little measure of triumph in his step, walks away from the toxicity of the internet to spend time with his lady love (one also assumes Kat is also with him), and later is shocked to discover that the internet has not heaped him with praise for his fearless stance. "Kat, hold my love!" he proclaims as he shoves a meatball sub into his roommates hands, and leaps to the Twitto-sphere to do damage control. His method? To not actually apologize, only to clarify that he is right, there are shills out there (that he's yet to name), that the big name people mad at him are CLEARLY not shills (although some of them could very well be; again he doesn't know) and to insist that deleting the Tweet is wildly appropriate because it refers to a state of mind he is no longer in and is thus. . ."out of context."

Jesus. Fucking. Christ. It's nearly half past 1 am and I am still reading and laughting / giggling silly. Only drop of bitterness: that the pigroach has begun his "row, row, row yer boat" shantee already. In my opinion, this could/should have been going on and on and on. Well, all good things must come to an end sometimes. However, I am curious if the tweets of the lady who called him a cockroach and called out the twitch staff for giving him too much chances to come back will get some cm woke on him. Maybe this little funny dramedy isn't over yet. Alas, a man can only dream.

Edit: btw, did you notice that his original tweet got over 200 likes? What sane person likes something like this?

Clearly, he shouldn't have generalized and instead he should've solely called out the people streaming State of Decay 2. Because that would've gone over much better, right?

I mean Twitch literally tells you who is streaming the game. He clearly knows who is a shill and who isn't so why didn't he step up and call them out by name I wonder. . .

I'm pretty sure though knowing Phil he has shit on game journalists too for getting their games early. It would be terrible if that video footage showed up on that thread. Or someone complied a video. Nah that wouldn't happen to Phil.

Edit: Do we think we're gonna get a half hour or full hour Thurs to explain the "context" of the tweet that is exactly already what he has tweeted but to a his fanbase that will nod their heads and throw bits to him?

Grow and move on!? Its just move on for him, go to his two channels and type in apology and you get a bunch of videos, he does this all the time. He doesn't even move on, he moves on for a day until they go back away and he can start his little tactics of bitching about them to try and sway viewers away from them. Remember when he "apologised" about Ninja and Drake and then moved the bitching to his twitch chat the next day when the shit went away.
