Chris claimed he's been searching locally for several days before finally putting a BOL on the internet. Not a bad idea considering he certainly knows about the swarms of stalkers milling around the area.

He also said he waited a few days to start looking for the cat. Did Sorbet have a habit of running off that being missing for a couple of days wouldn't cause any concern? If it was my beloved cat. I'd be searching hours after she went missing.

My worry is the cat found a quiet corner in the hoard to die in, and neither CWC nor Barb have noticed the smell of a decaying cat corpse over the smell of festering shit they're too lazy to clean up.

My heart goes out to that poor cat.

He's been looking for weeks, he was just smart enough not to post about it until now.
 
I feel horrible for him because as mentioned 4757 times before, if a cat runs away it could very well mean they are dying.
At the same time though, Sorbet seemed very unhappy in Chris's possession - that's not even counting the injuries he had gotten after that run in with that car.
I feel horrible for saying this, but I hope Sorbet doesn't find his way home because if he did he would either:
A) Spend a couple more years with Chris in a huge ass disgusting hoard.
B) Die within a week to a couple months and make Chris even worse off than he is now.

Chris knows what sorbet looks like. The thing has a wheeze, blown out eye, and is missing half a foot.

Kind of hard to pass just any old yellow cat off as Sorbet.

It depends. I've taken in outside cats (different, but still) before and while they did come inside quite a bit, if they didn't show up for two days I would only be slightly concerned (especially with unneutered males, they can be gone for days). Also, it's Chris... He's not exactly quick to respond to anything that isn't Sonichu/girl/money related.
