Can we all appreciate this guy? This dude saw Chris have a breakdown and helped. This whole situation could have been worst. Not all heroes have blue arms.
Holy shit, that really does look like Megan. If they are a couple, wow...Chris-Chan had more of a chance than any of us ever realized. Not saying this changes Christory or anything but, damn, that's sobering.
It's ironic that at most parties or gatherings, giving people an awkward kiss on the cheek isn't grounds for getting kicked out. Every college party has a boozed up fat chick who thinks that everyone wants her to sit on their lap and kiss them. You just tell her to fuck off and go about your day.
Photo he took which shows where he stood (from your link): View attachment 480271
Note: I'm only doing this because he's acting like a fag and he's hunting for efame by tagging Metokur.
If the fucking pussy ass nerds would just tell him to fucking stop when he gets touchy instead of being little bitches and reeing to twitter and/or the con staff this may never have happened.
Too Many Games has always been silent and secretive about those who they believe to be "problematic" without explicitly and firmly warning them.
I imagine that they were too uncomfortable with Chris, but 'warned' him in a way that came off as not a big a deal a with relaxed tone or didn't even tell him upfront at all. Chris probably took it not that serouis and continued thinking that it wasn't that big of deal which eventually lead to staff confronting him and banning him.
If the staff and attendees at TMG confronted Chris sooner and explicitly warned him with sincere and stern manner I don't think he would have gotten kicked out as he would have taken the warning a lot more seriously. But instead attendees decide to vent on twitter about his behaviour instead of actually talking to him about it and then staff decided take action to ban him outright.
I believe that they warned him, but I do think the con though weren't actually being assertive when they were telling him to stop and was just doing in a polite manner in order to not upset him. Only when they told him to leave did they actually became strict to him and that probably sent him to shock hence the tantrum.

On the other hand, the staff and attendees aren't there to teach common decency. You are expected to know how to behave. If it's anything like Anime Expo they might even have banners to remind you what is unacceptable, as well as safe space kiosks for any uncomfortable attendees to hide and let the security that their entry fee paid for to do their job. If Chris is really guilty, then it is all on him.
I've always had the impression that people calling for it are talking about the group homes with 24 hour professional care that have half the residents in bicycle helmets. All the support in the world isn't going to help someone that's never spoken an articulate word and shrinks away screaming if someone gets close. Severe autism is a extremely debilitating condition. People seem to think that level of autism is the same as Chris being autistic and stupid.
There's a world of difference between that and living somewhere that makes sure you get to your appointments and keeps you from giving your tugboat to Scientology (I'm intentionally oversimplifying here because of varying degrees of living/social skills assistance), which is where Chris would be placed. It would have to be 100% voluntary on his part because he simply isn't impaired enough to necessitate government/judicial intervention. Now, some day he might go so far into CWCville that he's crazy enough to have his agency removed, but that's not where he is today.
Like this Tay idiot. Chris is capable of taking care of himself, as far as the government is concerned. If we locked people up for talking to shit that isn't there, we wouldn't have enough left free to run the places.
The thing is, Chris is his own worst enemy. Even if he didn't have the bad luck to get Internet Famous, it wouldn't have stopped him from making most of his biggest mistakes.
His rule 34 of Megan wouldn't have become public knowlege, but he would have eventually done something possibly even worse to drive Megan away for good. He still would have gotten his ass kicked out of The Game Place for yelling at little niggos, he still would have called the owner a Jew and run him over, he still would have Trooned out, still would have flipped out about Blarms and pepper-sprayed some kid, still would have had nearly burned down Bl0rb's hoard.
We just wouldn't have known about it is all.
Chris really does need a wrangler, at least part time/for public events.
Back 15 years ago or so there was a high-level functioning autist just a bit more exceptional then Chris who lived on his own in my townhouse complex. He hated seeing the newspapers in an untidy pile before the paperboy came to collect and deliver them and used to tresspass to sort them out, on Hallow'een, he gave away all the food in his house that he didn't really like to kids who didn't know better and trick or treated at his door, that sort of thing. He had a tard wrangler come once a week to stock his shelves and see to his needs, and take him out to the movies and such. It worked really well.
Anyway, Chris is Chris, but fucking with him is just not funny any more. So if these pusbags were really telling him old trolls were going to be at the con then they can fucking well be doxed and mocked for all I care. But crossing boundaries is all on him, and possibly not able to be helped by him. He needs care.
*edit* Hirtes is a colossal faggot and will die alone.

This is the problem and is exactly why con people are pussy nerds. I guaranfuckingtee you no one went up to Chris and said "if you touch one more person without permission I'm going throw you out bodily."
Chris or anyone else like him isnt going to take subtle hints. Nerds never want to be direct. See a problem?

(minor :powerlevel: here)

The real problem is that he wouldn't accept the care. He'll never seek it out on his own, and he is not nearly impaired enough to have it forced upon him. Supportive services are limited; they, as in your example, will go to the store with you or for you so that you don't have a meltdown in the coffee aisle, or take you somewhere locally for a few hours. Chris wouldn't have had a helper at a weekend convention. I mean, I guess it's possible, but I would imagine it's prohibitively expensive and it would be Chris's responsibility to pay. A helper can tell him about boundaries and bad touch until their throat is raw, and he'll just shrug and say "Mm yeah but love is love."
OK, here are my initial thoughts: Chris really was the biggest problem. There have been too many people that have come out for me to try and justify it in any other way. Granted, he is known for being trolled, so people may have thought it was funny, but I'd like to think people are a little more careful about...sexual allegations.
However, I don't see the link between CJ and getting him banned. Sure, the Clyde/Tito thing is a bit shady and does require some more investigation, but for now there's no conclusive proof he had anything to do with Chris getting banned. I also don't really see any reason to suspect anyone over the notepad letter either. It seems to me like someone felt very misunderstood and was very frustrated, which is reasonable.
But hey, it's literally day 1. Maybe in a few days everything I've written here is obsolete and it turns out CJ is worse than Hitler.
My apologies, I posted some tweets just to document what was being said. I didn't realize that Hirtes creep's shit was really frowned upon. Anyway, here is one maybe more appropriate to be catalogued.

So, this guy made it clear he just wanted a picture with Chris and nothing else. It's obvious from the photos that Chris was trying to pull the coquettish anime girl vibe, which is BS, since he bent his knee and body to be shorter than that guy. Also notice how in the photo in question, the guy is pulling his face away from Chris.
