Because a certain person was telling him behind the scenes that it was a good idea.On one hand, I do agree that the staff are really unprofessional in not talking to Chris face to face regarding the touchy situation, and sending warnings via Facebook (although convenient) is not a great way to warn someone especially someone might not actually read it. There is a tweet that mentions how the staff did talk to Chris face to face about it, but I'm still unsure of it.
On the other hand, not sure why Chris would even want to randomly kiss people.
Lol “I look dumb in this pic”
We did have a confirmation that he did get a face-to-face warning beforehand. On one hand, I do agree that the staff are really unprofessional in not talking to Chris face to face regarding the touchy situation, and sending warnings via Facebook (although convenient) is not a great way to warn someone especially someone might not actually read it. I'm betting if it was, it was a really wishy-washy uptalky sort of warning that probably didn't even register as such.We did have a confirmation that he did get a face-to-face warning beforehand.
They probably beat around the bush. You need to tell him things directly and without any fluff. Simple terms, straight to the point. We did have a confirmation that he did get a face-to-face warning beforehand.
I'm not arguing your point but these aren't men; they're millennials, and millennial cucks and betas at that. All their life, they've been trained to not make waves, to respect each person's individualness, to be non-confrontational, and to not say anything that might make the other person uncomfortable. (Example: Think of how Jake Rapp would have handled this situation.) Of fucking course they would go running to Twitter instead of talking to Chris. As was said before, the "men" who complained to the staff should have just said something to Chris like, "wth are you doing? Stop it" or "cut the shit" instead of acting like little waifs. For men to repeatedly screech "you victimized me!" on the internet afterwards is just embarrassing.
I kind of think that was the whole point of his little display. I'm sure he was hoping some white knight would come to rescue him and convince the con to let him stay.Really tho, I feel sorry for him, he looks really sad and pitiful.

"Um, so you kissing people, that was a thing?? And some people were, like, uncomfortable??? So could you try and, um, use appropriate behavior???"

Is it wrong to think that Chris isn't the creepiest one in this picture?
It's probably a combination of two things.
1 - Chris was probably being a tard and making people uncomfortable because that's pretty much what he does.
2- #metoo and the hysterical climate of fear surrounding it made the con staff wildly overreact for fear of lawsuits/negative publicity.
