Con rules apply to all attendees. They don't owe Chris a warning any more than other creeps.

Yeah but there is a degree of reasonableness to all enforcement of laws\rules\etc. If you kicked out everyone in there that was cringey\awkward\creepy without giving them a warning you'd probably empty a third of the convention hall. Look at some of those rules and how vague they are- it would be hard to not break one of them. Obviously you don't give someone a second chance if they groped someone- and I mean groped, not hugged too long- but I'm not sure you expect someone like Chris to understand why the real girls (he likes to think of himself as one) can kiss someone on the cheek but he can't. So that's where a warning would be useful and reasonable, if that was indeed all that he was doing.

And a FB message is nothing... which is why I have so much trouble believing that they didn't warn him in person. But, as others have said, it's possible the warning was poorly executed.

The con shouldn't be expected to know who has special needs. I wouldn't want them to be obliged to give him more leeway with mistreating other attendees either.

Besides, if you were running a con, have its reputation to worry about, and a bunch of people reported about being uneasy with one single attendee, I bet you can decide real quick who needs to go.

When Chris tries to interact with society at large, he has to deal with the fact that people aren't as accepting of his creepy behavior as Christorians who go to visit his house. The relatively recent increase in his "fame" through yt videos creates situations where people might think of him as a gullible goof and never be exposed to all of his creepy shit.

Tbh, I'd like to see that fb message that tmg sent Chris. If it's a confirmation of a verbal warning it should contain something like, "per our conversation about your behavior, etc".
Fam, I'm not disagreeing with you either but he's famous for having sex with blowup dolls and sticking things up his ass. I've no sympathy for any grown man who buddys up to someone like that then gets emo when things get weird.
I think he'll fare better at bronycon (he can't fare much worse, lol). Looking at some of the vids from last year's con it seems like the tism meter is pegged there and more of the workers are used to wrangling slow in the minds. Hopefully we'll find out.

The are already warning the Bronycon organizers and telling them about Chris's latest incident. No matter how much we sugar coat it here because we know about the trolling plot, the fact that is he got thrown out for being too touchy feely with the other con goers.

TBH if chrischan got a warning on FB or in person then they got more warnings than most people would get at something like a con for this.

All I can really take from this whole situation is that Chrischan needs a "minder" 24/7 at an event of this scale. Maybe for a few hours it would've been ok but when a con lasts for longer and Chrischan's "celebrity status" rises its difficult to see how he would cope on his own with this shit.

And when I say need I mean requires both for Chrischan's pesonal safety but also the safety of other people.

I think the con was very nice in making a special allowance for him to visit given his financhu crisis and they didn't have to do that, nor did they have to give chrischan a warning.
