[6-Oct-2021] Twitch data on streamer income leaks - How close were revenue estimates?

I would argue, this leak doesn't necessarily put DSP in a positive or negative light and damn sure doesn't make him out to be a victim but just shows once again how rich he is/was and still crying poor and I'll bet he will go on a massive rant against Twitch once again so expect a long pre stream on Thursday. Meanwhile alotta people suspect DSP will crawl back to Twitch in the near future.
He's said he'll never go back to twitch. But between YouTube and twitch, he made so much more, largely due to the ability to mass gift subs. It's why he's pushing (limply just saying it on his streams and at the twitter bot) for gifting memberships like twitch.

I bet he'll be quiet about it for a while (like the bank leaks) untill he can twist it.

Threads like these show just how out of date and unwilling to accept change those kiwifarmers are who still consider this subforum to be the cringiest part of the site due to autism infection. Sure at one time that was true, but over the last few years the weaponization of the autism in here has made it one of the bests parts instead of one of the most embarrassing parts contenders on kiwifarms. Hope you've got some vinegar to season to taste all the salt that's going to be emitted today on stream, you'll need it for the chips!

I'm not autistic. I feel like I'm more passionate in accounting than software development... Too late now.

@Piece of Peace is an inspiration.

What are the odds Phil’s going to say this is just slanderous, falsified information and detractors just want to misconstrue how much he made on Twitch while begging for tips and shit feigning financial distress?

I would argue I’d reckon it’s pretty darn close to 1… that is if he doesn’t just outright ignores it.

Some great info to have in pocket but I’m just so underwhelmed after those delicious bank leaks. Gonna be hard to top evidence of Phil’s bad spending.
Yeah, the data is limited to be honest. It didn't have the full amount from the 8th through the 31st day of the month. If we consider that Twitch pays out every 15th and every 30th day of the month, then we still don't have his full earnings.

I miss the times when I was a hopeful young detractorlite, seeing things like this would make me go " wow Phil is screwed for real this time!".

Nowadays I just know that he'll ignore almost everything related to the leaks and only mention it as something that people are taking out of khantext.

Must be nice to face no repercussions for your lies.

It's going to be another set of "federal crimes committed against ME" and at the same time out of the other side of the stroke mouth with the end of the same breath, "it's all completely made up to slander ME." The wheelchairs will swallow the hook line and sinker again and the trolls will laugh as Phil punches air, it'll be a great time, for kiwifarts.

I think Twitch pays out only on the 15th. I haven't taken a close look, but a brief glance at the 2019 data matched up well with what I calculated then. My numbers were actually a little low, so the data may be for the whole month.

he can be all quiet he wants, but tractors aren't going to leave this be.
the 10 year plan resurfaced a few months ago and phil was all "huh? I have no idea what the hell you are talking about".
this shit will hunt him for all the upcoming years in addition to all the shit that hunt him right now.
the ride gets bumpier by the week.

I can't compare the posted revenues against those leaked here, were the top kiwi autists accurate on his revenue?

I looked at mine from 2019 and they're pretty well aligned. So far all of mine were actually a little low, but that may be an artifact of how I counted things based on time zones.

You know whats funny guys?

We all know how dsp likes to shit on the big streamers, saying they dont need your money, he needs it, but i dont think he will bring this up as a proof, cause he is also on it. At least a normal person wouldnt do that...

When the bank leaks happened, he was quiet about it for a few days. Even with everyone asking about it, it took him until his day off to think of the worst way of addressing it.

The ten year plan was likely a thing he had agreed to only for money from mummy dearest. Memory holed because he never had any plans of going through with it. It comes up every time he appears to be in distress because he had originally presented it as a way to help him secure a steady income.
