6-yr-old sent home without pants after soiling herself in class

While picking up his 6-year-old daughter from the school bus stop last week, a Florida dad quickly noticed that something was missing: her pants.

According to News 6, Raymond McCurdy was stunned when his humiliated daughter stepped off the school bus wearing nothing but a T-shirt and shoes on Tuesday.

He later discovered that his daughter, who attends Belle Terre Elementary School in Palm Coast, had raised her hand to go to the bathroom during class, but was ignored by the teacher.

After holding it in for as long as she could, the embarrassed 6-year-old eventually ended up soiling herself in class.

Rather than call the McCurdys and ask them to pick up their daughter from school or bring her a change of clothes, the little girl was forced to ride the school bus without pants—just a pair of school-issued underwear and a baggy T-shirt.

Her mother, Jennifer, said the 6-year-old was “picked on, bullied” and “laughed at,” while being forced to carry her soiled clothes home in a plastic bag.

The McCurdys also told News 6 that their daughter “has medical issues and when she has to go, she has to go,” which the school had already been told.

Raymond immediately went back to his daughter’s school and confronted the assistant principal about the disturbing incident.

“We asked her why my daughter was sent home in just panties and a T-shirt, and she begins to tell me, ‘We thought she had a long enough shirt to be able to put her on the school bus and send her home,’” he said.

The outraged parents say they have now hired a lawyer to make sure something like this never happens to a child at scool again.

This reminds me of the incident at my former public schools gym where I dislocated my knee cap after stepping on a puddle of water(shitty roof leaked after a rain),the teachers were on strike,so the school principal decided to lock us (literally) on the gym,the kids were playing soccer and they didn't eally cared, thinking that I was joking, shortly after that, they were screaming for help and banging on the gate, the primcipal thought it was a joke,so I was kept for nearly a hour with my knee fucked up (a dude with basic first aid knowledge placed it back, but it was still fucked up)
After that,I discovered I nearly lost my leg movement, because it almost snapped a tendon.
Tl:Dr: in first and in third world countries, school people are sadistic bastards.
The knee still hurts and gets dislocated time to time, but the physiotherapy helped a lot,so I can still run and jump normally.

The fuck kind of terrible reasoning is "the t-shirt is long enough"?
The kind that even an idiot would think is stupid. It's hard to explain, but it feels like the faculty really need to get that this is far from acceptable hammered into their heads.

They should have punished the teacher for not letting her student go to the bathroom when she knows she has a medical condition.
But you know, the American school system and the way it works is amazing in how it doesn't even try. Not like Canada's is any better, but at least we don't send our kids home pantsless. Just saying.

When I was a little boy my father told me if the teacher said I couldn't go, I should flop it out and piss in the corner. He's also a non functioning alcoholic.
Powerlevel = bogan

I actually had this happen in a class I was in once. A kid had to piss and the teacher wouldn't let him go until she had finished the lesson or whatever, so he went to the corner, whipped it out, and started pissing. I think this was in second grade, but I'm not all that sure.

They didn't even have a pair of pants to spare in the nurse's office or some shit? As many had brought up, they could've at least called the fucking parents to bring her a change of clothes, especially if the nurse didn't have anything on the ready, instead of just sending the kid on the bus with the little shits who would be bound to go after her like a wounded gazelle.

Growing up, there were a few times students had soiled themselves on accident due to medical problems, and they were always sent to the nurse, parents were called, and new clothes were brought. The school staff never made a big deal of it or made to bring attention to the student in question. Seeing something like this really toasts my marshmallows. I really hope the involved staff gets their asses fired -- they have no business handling children, considering they sought to punish and humiliate a kid for something she couldn't help.

This "teacher" pretty much deserves an in-person lesson in what "assault" really means.

This reminds me of a fun story my told me once that happened when she was in elementary school. My mom apparently was a bit of a wild child and tended to get into a lot of trouble, so one day the principal decides to take her into the office. Now, this was probably in the late 60's or early 70's, so even in California it was legal for teachers to spank kids. Now, he made two mistakes here. One, my grandparents already had said that if their kids get in trouble they want to be the ones who spank them. Two, dumb ass lifted up my moms skirt and spanked her right on the bottom. My mom, who was upset went home and told my grandmother, who then told my grandfather. Now, my grandfather was what you would of called a man's man. He was raised on a farm in Texas during the depression before shipping off to fight in WWII, became a mechanic in the truest sense of the word if it was mechanical, he could fix it even if he had never seen it before. If my grandmas stories were true, before she managed to calm him down he spent most of his life going from bar to bar, getting drunk and picking fights, winning far more than he lost. Now, upon hearing what had just happened, he calmly went to his car and drove down to the school. He entered the office and asked the woman at the counter if he could have a word with the principal. She let him though and when he walked in, shut the door and proceeded to pound the everlasting shit out of the man. The cops had to pull him off of the guy.
