Its not like hes gona have a funeral and if he dose it will be pretty shitty. I think we should pick a certain time after he passes then have like 60 seconds of silence for him. after all hes givien us hours of amusement. thoughts?

Assuming Chris lives till at least 40, I doubt anyone around here is still going to be following him when he dies.

I don't see his death coming for a very long, long time. Who knows how things will be by then.

60 seconds of silence isn't too much to ask for the death of another human, but we're assuming I ever even find out Chris is dead.

What is the point of this topic? Chris may be incredibly unhealthy but he's unlikely to actually die any time soon. It seems to be in pretty poor taste to talk about Chris' death potentially decades before it happens.

Yes silence.

But if I hear "Chris is dead" my first reaction would be to throw pennies.

Why is this a topic?

Although I do think we should make contingency plans for when Barb goes. Is there going to be the same amount of respect paid to her as with Bob?

And for once, no one will be there to pick them up off the ground. (:_(

The odds of OPL dying before his time are fairly strong:
-His Diet is completely hopeless; he was on Lipitor of all things.
-His workout is moving a 12 pack of sodas.
-His House is infested with vermin, we can't rule out them contributing to Bob's death (the hospital quarantined him)
-His House is poorly maintained, resembling at best the "1 Year after People" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_After_People, if not "5 years after people". Faded paint, yard turning into a young forest, and the tiles of the roof starting to wear through. Inside 14 Branchland is an incredible pile of crap, quite possibly tens of tons. It may well be piled high and against the walls of the house. Throw in termites or key supports getting worn by nature and you could have that two story house come down with Chris inside.

So CWC dying early seems like a solid bet. However, the OP is claiming the "very near future".

I'd concede that CWC really does have a far greater chance of death then most of us would in their 30s. It might even be something like a 1% shot of him dying each year (and its more like 1,000 to 1 for most people). The Gist of it, mostly, is that things that would be problematic or dangerous for most people would KILL HIM. If his house catches fire, he dies. If his house collapses, he dies. He can contract highly dangerous diseases from all of the feces in his house, including ones found in his own underwear.

If CWC is going to make it to 60, he's going to need some MASSIVE CHANGES to his habits. But he could make it to 50 just by being reasonably lucky with the status quo.

It's always the bitter ones that live the longest
