I guess it could be, sure. I also imagine groups like this one that try to extort people with AI-generated porn are going to become more and more prevalent as the technology improves and becomes more available, so there's going to be an increasing number of these little pop-up extortion groups that have no relation to 764 or the com despite using similar tactics.

He was a regular in the Telegrams, and one of the big fish on the Nexxpro master bounty list along with Rabid, Yuri, Criminal, Neo, etc.

This is the reason why the regular channels have gone dark lately and the remaining operators are cleaning their footprint and going underground

Yes and no.
1. This is a good thing because they know they are on the menu. Gone are the days of dark keyboard demi gods who were untouchable. They know they are actively being hunted.

2. This is a bad thing, because they know they are on the menu. These people just don't stop, they move, their cover is blown so they are moving to more secluded grounds, private discords, matrix, and other encrypted chats to continue their campaigns. Which makes it harder for researchers, reporters, and hunters to track down and gut.

The game isn't over whatsoever, it has just introduced fog of war; which for Kiwifarms? That's a big Win for you guys. You ran 764 off the Clearnet! Hooray!

For hunters though? The game continues onward, but now with fog of war at play. Victims will still be victimized, and these people won't stop, they'll just introduce more fog so they can have that sense of power again, of being untouchable.

If only you were allowed to shoot these people in the face, rather than give them 20 years in prison...that would send the message hard enough, but even monsters have rights, as disgusting as it sounds.

From the moment I heard about 764, I got the impression that these people almost wanted to be caught. Their whole modus operandi is to make their groups, and themselves the most well known evil group. I think No Lives Matter was actually the shining example of this, since there was realistically no reason for their actions, and no way they'd just get away with what they did. There's an audiobook series on the Atomwaffen Division, but more specifically like 3-4 people that describes the process of radicalisation, and the main point is the quest for significance. The quest for significance is how people want to be appreciated. You can go from a loser nobody to a hero in an elite club in somewhere like the Atomwaffen Division or NLM or 764. I somewhat doubted the validity of the argument until I learned about COM. For this reason, I can't genuinely believe these groups will ever truly go underground. Terrorist groups go underground because they have genuine beliefs that they're trying to fight for, but groups like 764, their whole existence is dedicated to being shockingly famous. Realistically, if this was just about sextortion and child abuse, they would have disbanded a long time ago and just continued to converse with the people they know.

What's with all these kids being blackmailed to cut themselves? I keep seeing this more and more, not just from psycho extortion groups like these. Good example would be Aeromatic's "pinkpilling" server, /cow/ had fun with one of the trannies from that server(Chijo) making an ass of himself, it turned out he and Aero(with many other members, most likely) made kids there cut their names into their flesh. I can only wonder how mainstream this actually is among discord groomers.


As for 764 and friends, this is really just gayer /baph/. These kids think they're hardcore, but they're not. Fucked up that they got an actual killcount, tho.

I've been looking into this since the article dropped, I found xer tripfag 4chan posts (over 3000 jfc) where xey advertise their suicide server along other schizo shit like "working for the FBI for about two weeks" and "knowing people in the CIA"; I assume the journos haven't found these. Definitely an actual schizo obsessed with Buddhist self-immolation and shit too, the video was really tough to watch though.

I don't like how that FMLK chick deflects all blame onto the comtard that groomed her though, there's some step between being groomed by a wannabe Manson into joining some group to driving four people to suicide at age 15. You can't get groomed into having ASPD to the point that you laugh and shout out your faggy group out while watching someone writhing and turning into ash, definitely needs an exorcism or some shit.

BTW, the article mentions that "in addition to Hervey’s immolation, The Post confirmed a second 764-related suicide — the 2022 death by gunshot of 29-year-old Daniel P. McCoy of Florida". Anyone know more about this?

Yeah, that's the same one. Chijo has a thread in Prospering Grounds here and I got a bunch of archived links to old /cow/ threads about him. Chijo is a lolcow, the worst he's done is made people cut his name into their flesh, most of the time would usually spam his own thread(not unlike Zoey/Talbott) or would be outed to have done something really nasty, like pee in a ramen bowl. Not exactly horrorcow material as the guys in this thread, but it's scary how prevalent the abuse of minors is. The LGBT trooners are no better, they just hurt them in a different way.

Another recent arrest that hasn't had much coverage: Ryan Stenwick, aged 24

SPRINGFIELD — A prosecution in U.S. District Court sheds light on a global online network built upon hacking, swatting, animal torture, sexual exploitation and even driving some to suicide.

Ryan Stenwick, 24, of West Springfield, was arrested Tuesday after being indicted on four criminal counts including cyberstalking, stalking and the use of fire in the commission of a federal felony. A federal magistrate judge is considering whether to hold him behind bars pending a trial.

Despite being expelled from high school, having no car or driver’s license and living with his parents while working at a local Big Y supermarket — Stenwick managed to wage campaigns of terror from behind his computer without ever leaving the house, according to a prosecutor.

Court records say Stenwick was an established member of an online ecosystem called “the Com,” built on financial crimes, SIM card swapping, swatting — the practice of making fake 911 calls to drive a massive police response — acts of extreme violence, selling child porn and encouraging victims to self-harm.

“While the SIM swapping and intrusions seem to be the primary ways that the Com members monetize their criminal activity, members of the Com also protect and promote themselves through intimidation, terror and violence much like more traditional organized crime groups,” reads a motion for detention by Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven H. Breslow.

While Breslow lobbied U.S. Magistrate Judge Katherine Robertson to keep Stenwick behind bars, defense lawyer Kevin Murphy argued that his client should be released to his parents and be deprived of any electronic devices.

“Unfortunately he adopted a persona where he sits behind a computer screen and becomes a different person,” Murphy told Robertson. “Without access to an electronic device, this man is harmless.”

Robertson told lawyers in the case she will likely have a ruling on the matter of pretrial detention by next week.

Case details

A subgroup of the Com is called “764″ and mirrors many of the alleged extortionate behaviors of the other network.

When federal agents mined Stenwick’s electronic devices, they unearthed a 50-minute video of Stenwick and an unnamed associate urging a young woman identified as K.M. to get drunk, carve their initials into her thighs and smear herself with her own blood.

“Good girl. Now grab the (expletive) knife and we’ll tell you what to do. Rub your blood all over your (body),” Breslow quoted from a transcript of the video in a hearing Thursday afternoon.

“By the end of the video, K.M. was sobbing and bleeding extensively, and she was later transported to the hospital,” the prosecutor said.

Previously, Stenwick arranged to have her and her family’s homes swatted and encouraged her to attempt suicide, the documents contend.

Although he lives in Western Massachusetts, Stenwick was indicted in Pennsylvania by a grand jury there, as that state is where those alleged crimes occurred in 2020.

The following year, investigators say, he paid one of his associates, Patrick McGovern-Allen, a New Jersey man, to firebomb a minor’s house. McGovern-Allen traveled to the girl’s home, smashed a window and threw a Molotov cocktail inside, setting the home aflame. The minor was not there but her mother and stepfather were sleeping inside, according to court records.

McGovern-Allen recorded the attack as proof that the job was done.

In 2022, Stenwick once again commissioned McGovern-Allen to shoot eight rounds into a house where K.M. was staying. The bullets pierced the walls and windows, striking a wall, piano leg, table and small stool, court records say.

McGovern-Allen has pleaded guilty in the case, according to the prosecutor, but never named Stenwick as a co-conspirator. Stenwick, however, made admissions to federal agents during a series of interviews.

Does it have anything to do with Durov's arrest? I highly doubt Macron of all people to care about this. Guess we'll have to wait and see if any of these arrests yield any conviction.
