Thing is, where does he go from there? Once you've claimed repeatedly that you're going to off yourself and then don't do it, there really isn't anywhere else to go for asspats.

It doesn't help that he's a total drama queen. I mean, if you've got someone who's normally fairly upbeat and they start displaying warning signs, then you pay attention. But for Phil, life is this conga-line of traumatic events that he whines about constantly. Every time someone looks at him funny, it's an act of transphobic aggression. Every time someone says "no" to him, it's a bad day that will drive him to the verge of suicide. There's no courage, no making the best of a bad hand in life. Just constant moaning, interspersed with "Don't mess with Warfemme Izzy Hell, I killed 5 cis guys this morning!"

After a while, even the most ardent asspatter is going to stop thinking "omg ur so brave" and start thinking "you fucking pussy, grow a pair, oh wait you still have the last pair."
 
If only Phil knew, getting a job, moving to the suburbs and getting into middle-class debt is a lot like committing suicide.

Do the right thing tater, get a job!
