Tom is aggressively paranoid toward the FBI and yet repeatedly threatens to sue people in Federal Court. Does he not realize the relationship between those entities?

Forum guidelinesBe sure to express your deepest and most perverted fantasies as if they were profound truths about me, losers. it will make destroying this behavioral sink that much easier. the more insane you think you're making me look, the more preposterous your accusations look to people actually capable of critical thinking, instead of you pathetic perverts with your delusions of intellect and redeeming social worth. what will you gain by destroying my life? who will benefit from that besides your demented egos?

Here is tom talking down to a legitimate tranny from the position of him being a fake tranny. This was the post he was making at the end of the stream. He thinks that because he creates facebook groups hes a global tranny activist. This is the same logic he uses by thinking that because he looks at pictures of "cute young girls" and masturbates while pretending he is the "cute young girls" (who look to have ages in the single digits) he is a legitimate tranny. Nope, just a pedoautogynephiliac.

No, "second puberty" is just a metaphor that is used because of some superficial similarities. It's an entirely different process that happens to an adult person who emotionally matured and is at an entirely different developmental stage than adolescents. I feel infantilizing us in this way is an insult.

Natalia P Zhikhareva Naomi Hoogeweij that’s interesting point of view and I also often wondered if saying that trans people are going through puberty is in a way “demeaning” if you will, of the maturity they have already acquired.

Roxy Weather Disagree on all fronts. Puberty is, scientifically, what I'm going through, developing secondary sex characteristics, and flooding my endocrine system with a sex hormone it's not especially used to. And I'm learning and growing in many ways that mirror what cis women go through as teenagers. I also never dated men before transition, so learning about boys has been a thing for me too.

Naomi Hoogeweij Natalia P Zhikhareva It is.... I'm a single parent, my son is 19 years old now, he just left for college. I'm a psychiatric nurse, do social work with trans kids (who actually are teenagers). I'm not rebellious, don't do irresponsible stuff, am eable to oversee the consequences of my actions also in the long run, have a "rounded personality" that experienced 47 years of life.
Roxy Weather in developmental psychology, puberty is a stage related with age and behavior rather than physical development. Great that you personally started dating boys for the first time, but I have always had relationships with both men and women, so don't generalize this personal experience. It doesn't make you a teenager. You have the right to vote, drink alcohol, you are able to make informed decisions about things like transitioning, you are - in short- an adult.

Naomi Hoogeweij Your personal experience doesn't prove anything.

Reina Natalia You won’t debate because you know she’s right. Our “second puberty” is not even on the same level as actual teenagers hitting their first.

Rori Porter Naomi Hoogeweij "Your personal experience doesn't prove anything." Excuse me? The original question is about personal experience, not asking for a universally applied definition of trans puberty.
That's their personal experience, and invalidating it because it doesn't match your experience is pretty ridiculous, no?
We all experience our "second puberty" differently, and arguing over technical differences feels silly and pointless.
This is about *feeling* a particular way, how one is handling or coping with the onslaught of hormones their body finds unfamiliar in such high concentrations. Calling it "second puberty" doesn't hurt you, so why do you have to be so antagonistic about people who define their experience that way?
Nobody owes you a debate, and please stop trying to antagonize people into debating you on something you're being entirely too pedantic over.

Claire Renee Kohner I agree, the “second puberty” doesn’t exist and it’s an infantilization of the transitioning process. I believe the theory gives trans folx a license to act poorly towards people, then point back and blame the hormones.
I did some brief research on this and Drs at the UofM Center for Sexual Health, established in the late 70s, will tell you it doesn’t exist but won’t publish it because they know the blow back they’d receive from the people they are dedicated to help.
I think if folks want to believe in it, then no harm done; I’m just in agreement with the sexual health medical community on this one.

Reina Natalia Too many trans women over 25 use hrt as an excuse to act like immature teens. Sorry but that’s the truth.

Naomi Hoogeweij Rori Porter My reply and the subsequent discussion was about that general definition though. Besides, "puberty" isn't and individual collection of ill defined feelings, but a term from developmental psychology that is very well defined. The effects from HRT do not fit that definition.
So stop framing transitioning like it's puberty and me like I would force anyone into a debate.

Naomi Hoogeweij Good argument! Are you done bullying and intimidating me into your viewpoint now?

Teejay Wasserberg Naomi Hoogeweij the transgender experience is a journey of personal discovery that is unique to every individual. While it is not the same as a teen's puberty, there is a similar enough set of feelings and body changes that it has become popularized in the community. Because of the unique nature of everybody's experience, objections such as you have raised are considered to be inappropriately petty in what is frowned on as "trannier than thou" posturing.
Call me a bully too if you like, but i'm speaking from a position of strong connections to the global activism and advocacy community to a person with no mutual friends and no visible connections to anything but the Netherlands cafe society.

Naomi Hoogeweij Teejay Wasserberg Again the ridiculous personal attacks that have nothing to do with the actual argument. There is nothing "trannier than thou" about stating that transitioning is not the same as puberty. I don't actually care about your self importance and your "connections" either. That doesn't make your arguments more convincing. I don't feel it's relevant to the discussion to tell you about my connections and affiliations.

Naomi Hoogeweij So is this a coordinated attack on my person from a facebook group for hons with a personality disorder?
Hide or report this
Teejay Wasserberg Naomi Hoogeweij i have made no personal attacks and i'm being exceptionally dignified in my comments to you, because i'm not angered by it like my siblings appear to be.
. i merely stated facts as i understood them. i agree that the transgender puberty is not technically at all the same, but in light of the popular usage of the term, your personal objections to this popular notion earned you a bunch of contempt.
While you're being petty and getting defensive and very combative on Natalia P Zhikhareva's page, this thread is being monitored by a gang of alt right cyberterrorists who are calling you a "legitimate tranny" and me a "pedoautogynephiliac" who thinks just because i own some groups i'm some kind of "global tranny activist"
a ten minute read of my public profile Tommie Jayne Wasserberg's friends, groups and media will tell you anything you need to know about the legitimacy of my credentials. I'm a federally tracked surviving 60's rebel and auntie tommie to a modest, but global audience of trans people, their families, friends and health care providers, gaining a lot of recognition for my knowledge of ,more things transgender than most other people know and these people are hungry to learn.
I am not questioning your validity as a transgender person or even your moral compass. in this case, in light of the popular usage of the term, i sincerely feel that you should have kept your mouth shut at the outset or at least ratcheted back the passion of your offense, walking it all back graciously when you started to get push back. Instead, you continue to defend yourself and attempt to escalate, even with me just now for trying to put out the fire.
One very important behavior we all need to practice is the art of gracious disagreement. You're attacking a misconception needlessly that brings a lot of joy to your siblings. Claire Renee Kohner supported your opinion on the difference between the two, but did not support your being so critical of people wanting to believe in it because she saw no harm done. Better to attack the misconceptions the transphobes use to harm them than one of few things that bring them joy.

Teejay Wasserberg Reina Natalia debate really isn't appropriate here at all. there is no argument that the two are not technically the same thing, but the trans puberty is popularized and there really isn't a more appropriate term to describe the experience.
Note that the school is mainly involved in psych shit. Do they hold accreditation from the APA?Pacifica Graduate Institute is a private for-profit graduate school with two campuses near Santa Barbara, California. The institute offers masters and doctoral degrees in the fields of clinical psychology, counseling, mythological studies, depth psychology (with three distinct specializations, cited below), and the humanities. The institute is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Three dozen former Ph.D. students enrolled in Pacifica Graduate Institute's clinical psychology program filed a lawsuit last month stating that the school misrepresented its accreditation status, which left them saddled with student loan debt but no job prospects.
The lawsuit was filed Sept. 25 in Santa Barbara Superior Court, and the complaint states that the students were interested in graduating from a school accredited by the American Psychological Association, and that the school claimed to be so in order to recruit them.
The former students are suing the institute for negligent and intentional misrepresentation, concealment and unfair business practices, according to the complaint.
The plaintiffs say they were told that the school was accredited or that it would be "any day," the complaint states, adding that "the students reported that they would be 'grandfathered' in when the school received accreditation, a matter which was not 'if but when.'"
The school charges annual tuition ranging from $18,864 to $25,965, and because APA accreditation takes six to eight years, "by the time they realized no APA accreditation would be forthcoming, they were heavily in debt — most over $150,000," the complaint said.
Most of the plaintiffs were many years into their Ph.D. programs and without the ability to transfer more than half a semester's worth of units should they leave PGI, the complaint states.
Attorney Eric Woosley, who is representing the former students, said that many of his clients are now hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt with no job prospects.
"We were shocked to learn how long the misrepresentations regarding APA accreditation had been going on," he told Noozhawk. "We have clients going back for more than a decade that were told that Pacifica would obtain APA accreditation any day. That was years before Pacifica had even applied for APA accreditation."
But officials at Pacifica said the institute has always been forthcoming about its accreditation status.
“It always pains us to hear when a student is dissatisfied," said Erik Davis, director of communications for Pacifica. "For more than 35 years, Pacifica Graduate Institute has designed our degree programs around the success of our graduates."
Davis said that all of the school's graduate degree programs are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and that the school's Ph.D. and Psy.D. Clinical Psychology programs satisfy the requirements for licensure in California and many other states.
"Information about the accreditation statuses of our programs is readily available to our students and to the public," he said, adding that the institute is proud of its standard of education and the programs it provides. "We have always been forthright about our APA accreditation status, and we are confident that our clinical psychology programs provide our graduates with knowledge and skills sought after by employers across the country."
