After hearing that Dylan Mulvaney got cast as Anne Boleyn in something called “Six”, and learning that it’s a musical from 2017 that takes the wives of King Henry VIII and makes them pop stars, and thinking about this more than I ever wanted to (Seriously, there’s fan animatics for the songs), I decided to see if there’s something relating to a thread to talk about Broadway or theater in general. To my knowledge , there wasn’t (if there is, I apologize and the mods are free to delete).
So here it is: a thread to talk about musicals, plays, the “scene”, fandoms (Did you know that Lindsay Ellis found some of her longest lasting friendships through being in online circles dedicated through Phantom of The Opera?), songs, the Tony Awards, performances, that kind of thing, wherever they may be. As Shakespeare said: “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.”
