Fuck off. Verified Twitter users are not a protected class and they do not, as a group, deserve any sort of special consideration from the general public. Stop trying to conflate shitting on the average blue checkmark (a self-important nobody who's unlikely to be impersonated) with groups that are targeted for actual fucking hate crimes.

The worst part of this is you could actually make a fucking funny and somewhat informative article if you explored the subject earnestly instead of using it as yet another soapbox from which to scream about gamers being dead. Potential hands itself to these hacks on silver platters and they slap it away so they can screech some more.
