There's a poster that thinks the devs will believe the community to be xenophobes for hating the flag mural. I mean, I guess there's nothing stranger or more foreign than troons...

I think the dev is stupid for putting it in, I think the people blowing it up are stupid for blowing it up. I also think having flags for anything other than nations is stupid. We need a flag, by the way.

Having spent the last five days playing the new DLC extensively (which also includes up to 50 player online co-op) I have this to say: A Hat in Time is my new standard for 3D platforming. It's not just the cute design of the protagonist that makes it the best: it has solid controls for movement both on the ground and in mid-air, the music is memorable, the voice acting is on-point, the levels have some honest-to-god creativity in their theme and level objectives.

Most importantly though, it doesn't take itself too seriously. There are little jokes hidden throughout the game whether its in character dialogue or as a prop in the background of the level, and that alone promotes exploring every inch of this game. Even though it has its glitches and occasional crash, everything else about it is done so right I can easily overlook the wrong. If it ever goes on sale again you absolutely should grab it; it's a specimen of a dying breed of games that exist to be fun first and foremost.

(If you think the base game is too easy try doing the Death Wish contracts in the Seal the Deal DLC; they take it up to 11.)
 
This game is probably one of my favourite 3d platformers of all time, thought admittedly there's not tons of those being made these days.

The DLC's are both pretty damn awesome, with my only complaint being that the 1st one is too short. Like that spider two posts ago said, people were complaining the game was too easy so the developers included a super hard challenge mode thing in the 1st DLC as a response, it was pretty funny.
