Honestly, I really don't. I almost didn't click on this thread but had just enough idle curiosity left. Casino Royale was a good film. The rest, not very good and Spectre was downright unpleasant in places. That whole lobotomy scene for example. I'd be unlikely to go and see it wokeified or not. And the girl I saw Casino Royale with liked Bond as the sexually aggressive sociopath. She got downright responsive when in CR Bond remarked that married women "kept things simple". I can't see her enjoying seeing him being put in his place or pushed around by female agents. Very much spoils the interest most women have in the character, those that are, anyway.

I doubt it will be as awful or as hyper-woke as people are saying. But I can well believe it will be very meh.

This 1000% matches up with the stupid and lazy way spectre/blofeld were introduced in the last movie and the general "slap names from the classic series on to new shit that has absolutely nothing to do with it but will totally make the consoomers cream themselves at the mere existence of a reference" horseshit in revival/reboot/remake cinema these past five years

This is how they will end the "craig bond" timeline and then they will quickly try and reboot it with a different actor

Kinda like Judi Dench, where she ends up mentoring her replacement..

In a way, signifying James Bond is now feminist approved.
