The reality is that it can definitely get much worse. Right now it's surprisingly easy to block ads and I'm dreading the day they decide they need to claw back that revenue and go full retard on it. YouTube is basically unmoderated on very small channels and I wonder if in the future some (((expert))) will give them the impetus to take the "You" out of YouTube and close the door to open registration. Archiving is also very easy unlike services like Instagram or Tiktok where you get immediately ratelimited.
