Very simple. Sonic has more anthromorphic characters compared with Megaman and Sonic's gameplay is very simple compared with Megaman, and thus attracts autists more.

...That's actually a decent question. I'd agree with it being due to the more complex gameplay, and perhaps lack of mega-edge like the disaster that was Shadow.
Maybe because Megaman isn't as appealing to people in design, either. Not everyone likes robokids. ....But apparently Sonic is better somehow, the furry fuck.

Almost every franchise has its own fandoms of course. Difference is which fandom spergs the loudest and Sonic takes the cake for that.

I actually always ask a lot of decent questions because I have learned that there's no such thing as a stupid questions and the stupidest thing to do would be to not ask the questions at all, because someone may be wondering the same question you have, but may be afraid to ask.
Sometimes in school I would ask a question and then they would tell me that the question wasn't related to the topic at hand and not answer it, so I get confused because I have received mixed messages about asking questions.
