This is more of a rant than anything else, because I keep seeing this guy on the interwebs even though I live nowhere near him, Before I even begin I just want to say this is more of a rant than anything serious, you can skip this article and your life won't be any worse off and it likely doesn't effect you.

Having said that this just kind of.... made me mad. https://langworthy.house.gov/media/...y-introduces-bipartisan-safer-skies-act-close

So what does this address? well, sometimes airlinse can sell individual seats and run scheduled services without the same scrutiny you'd find under regular TSA security screeninsg as normal airline operations. but I don't want to address what the bill actually does because it doesn't matter to me, and i'll explain why.

let's start with just how useless the TSA actually is:

"The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) safeguards America's aviation system every day. The agency's mission is critical, and there is no room for error" <- this line
is just straight up incorrect, in fact there is a 95% leniency for error when it comes to the TSA, 95% of all contraband does not get detected by the TSA (https://www.latimes.com/opinion/top...-airport-security-charade-20150608-story.html) and even if it had I don't think they're a constitutional body to begin with, their entire goal is to seize weaponry from a nation of people who have a fundamental right to own a weapon. We shouldn't be trying to make them more effective we should be trying to get rid of them, there's no room for the TSA in American life.

now let's move down the article and what do we see "bipartisan support" oh yes that's real good; virtually a synonym for the agreement a uniparty of warmongering pedophilic elites supports your bill Nick.

and then down at the bottom, the guy might as well have just written "I take bribes" in the biggest boldest letters possible. what is lobbying? lobbying is bribery,
and this line:

“Airline passengers should be able to board a plane and trust that they have the same level of safety and security whether they are flying into a big city or a small town. Loopholes, and the abuse of current rules and regulations, undermine a system that has made U.S. commercial aviation the safest in the world,” said Capt. Jason Ambrosi, President of the Air Line Pilots Association

Ask yourselves, who is "The Air Line Pilots Association", well i'll tell you, they're a lobbying group. they were founded in 1931, and are a coalition of 42 us and canadian airlines (you can call them a 'labor union'). maybe you support them maybe you don't, I don't care. them being in there giving him their support is a strong enough indicator for me that they lobbied for him to write this legislation.

how about a counter argument, "Airline Passengers should feel free to board a plane and trust that their civil liberties will not be violated nor any group who's sole purpose in life is to diminish their rights be present." is an equally if not more reasonable expectation.

I already know what the counter arguments are going to be, so I'll just put them down before they start;
no I don't believe a word out of the FBI, CIA, or any other alphabet agencies mouth. these organizations protected the Epstein class for decades, I do not care about the 9/11 attacks, and I do not give any justification to the patriot act, my counter argument; I don't care about safety if it comes at the cost of my rights, I don't want the united states to be the most powerful country in the world if the cost is higher than the reward justifies.

in short I don't like this bill not because of its contents but because its very existence gives more legitimacy to an illegitimate organization, the TSA.
the tsa is inefficient, violates privacy rights, has inconsistent performance, and functions like a dictatorial policing group, not something I want to legitimize any farther.

Thanks that's all.
