But you may be onto something with the Tim pool Angle, I remember when his dox leaked of his new house in MD a year half - 2 years ago, on /pol/ and it was 404d faster than a Nigger going to the welfare office. And out of that list I posted, Tim pool has been swatted the most frequently this year, I think it's 6-7 times, followed by Ralph which was 3-4. And Tim pool definitely has lefty hacker friends who he's had a falling out with for various reasons.

Maybe I'm caving, but I think limiting some information in the threads going forward would be good. Links to people's social media should be fine, but including people's dox in the threads makes it too easy for newfags & bad actors to abuse that information & that backlash then falls on us. Most long term users here are mature enough to not get involved with the cows and in fact, it's frowned upon, but you don't even need to be logged in to see all the information here, which I think makes it very easy for idiots to abuse. I understand that KF is not the source of the dox, and that doxxing somebody is laughably easy in most cases - but it takes time that many people aren't going to devote if we aren't going to serve it to them on a silver platter.

Nobody’s getting punished. They can scream and cry Kiwifarms all they want but I doubt one of ours is guilty- even if it WAS a kiwifarms user there’s no proof it was planned or even encouraged by other users.

This will blow over and just be another entry on the site’s wikipedia page. Not a fan of the feds but an investigation will occur and I highly doubt the outcome of that investigation will be shutting down Kiwifarms.

Until that investigation occurs, at least for Null’s sake, I hope the services KF become more responsive and the controversy dies down a bit.

Why not go for someone more respected and readily believed? Or did they just think she'd be the most likely to make a huge stink about it without doing any investigation at all? If I was trying to take this place down via swatting I'd probably target a Democrat and go in with an anti-tranny angle. That would make it more believable due to the motive actually aligning with the apparent views of the userbase.
