I was one of the OG tumblr users that was there for the memery before all the aids and nigger lives matters and pedos destroyed the website.

Is there a similar website out there that isn't infected with 'ganda? Just the whole dashboard structure with tags, etc?

I always thought the site design was very clever. Wasn't cohost meant to be that but it got -again- infested with the usual suspects and therefore burned to the ground?

I realize I keep answering my own question, but I can dream.

There is not, I'm serious. There are literally isn't a single website that is similar to the way Tumblr functions, the maximum you can find is Fediverse which is more of a Twitter clone than Tumblr.

All "Tumblr Alternatives" that people suggest are literally just blogs without any way finding them, once you create a blog, it's an island, people wouldn't be able to find your content naturally like on Tumblr

There's apparently still a few on the site but they've been feuding with the current owner of the site over some prominent tranny users getting banned for posting threats to the owner.

If your interests are something that's discussion/media-heavy like old computers or sports, I unironically recommend just going back to tumblr and I'm saying this as someone who actually posts there. There's still a tranny presence but it's trivial to avoid since all of them tend to form weird little cliques and the only trans nonsense I see is stuff reblogged from two specific cows I follow and don't interact with. If anything I'd compare the feeling to very, very early Twitter.

Tumblr is currently occupying a very specific niche, no website is better at being Tumblr than Tumblr itself, and any website that would try to fill this niche in 2024 is going to end up way more pozzed and populated 90% by trannies, who, btw, have started leaving Tumblr when it banned porn, and are now leaving it again over the owner being transphobic or some retarded drama like this, mostly to Bluesky. At this point Tumblr is somehow less pozzed than some other websites, like Twitter, cause at least it doesnt have a soulless alghoritm that forces the chuddies and the trannies to meet each other, it's still a social network but you can to some degree curate what you see and who you interact with.

None that I know of. I think there's a myspace ripoff out there somewhere, but no one is on it so...

What I really want are different front-ends for existing sites like wikis and forums, so we can go all myspace or tumblr on our client side shit. It's been 20 years since facebook, we have the technology, let's do it.

Different front ends as in what Wikiwand is? Or like what Piped does?
 
Unfortunately any offshoot gets infiltrated by the pedos and trannies and tranny pedos and even the "based" side of tumblr is full of such people who drove off the less maladjusted users between 2019 and 2023. Everyone who didn't have some sort of weird sex scandal come about about them on gunblr/racistblr/tardblr dipped a while ago and went to touch grass. The novelty of ban racing and spelling out slurs died out and it's just faggots having religious dick measuring contests, fedposting, and pedos accusing other pedos of being pedos.

Tumblr is attempting to implement an algorithm much to the dismay of current users who have been there usually for a minimum of a decade. The FYP tab is locked as your initial dash, you need to go to the following tab to see posts from people you actually follow. Liking, reblogging, or just clicking someones blog now feeds the FYP and who you are recommended/who is recommended you. You are automatically oppted into settings like non chronological timelines, "in your orbit/best stuff first", and all your shit being public. Tumblr has always been bad at being a website, but the "so bad it's good" that kept people there i.e. lack of modern social site features are being replaced. Everyone thinks tumblr is dead and it wasn't, but will be soon.
