Aaron lost his court case today in Florida. He was trying to charge someone in civil court for harrasment and get granted a restraining order.

I didn't play FNAF. I was born far too late to ever know what the fuck a Showbiz Pizza was. I have no fucking clue about any of these weird ass god damn animatronics. I stumbled on this thread late tonight, and was curious. Just got done reading.

I just wanted to share something I found personally kind of weird before I ever found this thread. I was on TikTok and this guy had these fucking weird animatronics in his OWN BEDROOM. I was flabbergasted because they look crazy huge and expensive and I cannot imagine sleeping next to these 9 foot robots. Anyway. His name is The King on youtube and he makes weird content with these animatronics including lots of weird smaller TikTok vids.

I guess this is all stuff from an outdated Chuck E. Cheese character that this guy is obsessed with. I cannot imagine the sheer amount of hard cash this must have taken to find these things, fix them up, and refit your entire bedroom into their own personal little studio. It's very bizarre, but, I suppose since it's far past Rock-afire's time that whiney bitch boi Aaron himself would never have any interest in it.

That guy has actually been nice to fans to my recollection - and yes, the King is another character from Chuck E. Cheese’s exclusively. It’s from around the same time but note the style of animatronic - more fluffy, like a stuffed animal (compared with the Rock-afire’s realistic latex sculpting.. this was part of the appeal for Bob Brock, who was the founder of Showbiz even with the predecessor form of the Chuck E. figures)

Yeah there's a specific style CEC went with that's colloquially referred to as "Ottoman" since they all kind of looked like they were made from furniture. It has a charm and presumably those bots are much easier to restore and maintain on account of not having fragile latex parts.

Just a side comment for anyone not familiar, the latex masks on the Rockafire Explosion tend to melt/degrade or tear with age. The kicker is that Aaron pretty much has a stranglehold on the entire Rockafire parts market (save for the rare exception) because he still owns the molds for the masks, eyeballs, etc. And he charges exorbitant prices for even masks without paint.

Painting would kind of need to be done by somebody talented enough to do it, I don't think aaron does painting himself. His old Bear-a-Dise restoration videos kind of confirmed that his old assistant Tim did the painting at least for that show.

I think David Ferguson did or maybe still does sell recasts of the masks but they're considerably worse because they're just slightly smaller so they tear a lot quicker.

The only real other "parts" that people tend to require for restorations boil down to fur for cosmetics and the front of the organ and while aaron has licensed somebody else to do those, they're not cheap either and are being sold on a "limited batch" system which means its just going to stay expensive.

Anyway, if you've ever seen a picture of a rockafire character and considered it "creepy" because of their sunken in eyes and most likely seeing the metal frame for their face just underneath the eyes thats from masks melting or losing their elasticity.

This is what I meant, this is somebody else who's commissioned a fur company to make near facsimiles of the 80s fur since its getting harder to fine.

Of course the question then arises, why not figure out whatever way he got the fur and just buy a roll yourself instead of paying a middleman? Organ fronts I can at least understand since those are something that actually requires more effort than buying artificial fur.

Im not up to date on unity but i'm pretty sure its free to use and upload things with if its not commercial?

He made that comment after this comment he left on someone's Rock-afire Replay video. He's such a hypocrite. It's hard to tell if he likes or hates the game. Also, I looked it up and they say you are allowed to even sell games made with Unity's Personal Edition. I think even commercial games are allowed. And last 15 or something versions of Rock-afire Replay that I downloaded, I'm pretty sure were just a completely normal and safe to play game.

I don't know what goes through this boy's head to think that his google searches is just as credible as someone who has spent years specializing in this shit. However, the relationship between the rockafire and the autistic fans would make for an interesting study.
