McCluske is very matter-of-fact about death. I'm not certain he understands the ramifications or permanence of it.I wonder if he realizes how many people died on 9/11? Is someone in his "condition" aware of death on this scale?
In this video he talks about his father, who passed away in 2005 due to diabetes, and he just rattles off some facts and then says to "please subscribe":
Also, note that the only picture he has of his father is a still from the video of his first Christmas. He seems unfazed by this.
In an aforementioned video linked in the OP, he straight up says he hopes his mother dies in a car accident without any faltering in tone or hesitation in speech.
He also discusses his responsibility to call 911 if his grandmother has an accident and his grandfather is not around to help. He seems more confused by the 911 process itself than the emotional impact of a loved one being seriously injured or incapacitated.
In a video that I unfortunately can't seem to find again, he complacently admits that he told his grandmother that he wants to die when she does.
His grandfather also has blocked arteries and has had to have multiple bypass surgeries on his heart. McCluske handles the gravity of multiple open heart surgeries with the tact of a toddler telling someone how old they are.
I am not able to find his commentary on anything with a death toll that comes close to 9/11, however here's his take on a bus accident where 31 children burned to death. The videos ends exactly as you're guessing it does.
