The ABC10 television station in Sacramento was hit Friday by gunfire that struck a window in the building's lobby, according to police.

Video showed what appeared to be at least three bullet holes in the window of the building in the 400 block of Broadway. Police said no injuries were reported.

It was not immediately clear whether the shooting, reported about 1:30 p.m., was random or targeted, police said.

Officer Anthony Gamble said a lobby is on the other side of the window hit by gunfire. The building was occupied at the time.

Details about the shooter and a motive were not immediately available. Gamble said a vehicle left the scene after shots were fired, but a description of the vehicle was not immediately available.

He said the case could be considered a drive-by shooting.

The shooting comes a day after protesters gathered outside the building in response to the suspension of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" ABC10 is an ABC affiliate owned by Tegna.

NBC News has reached out to ABC10 for comment.

I bet MAGA must be responsible for this...

I heard station execs are desperately trying to characterise this shooter who did a drive by on the building as anything other than one of them.

But lots of people having the "Whatcha doin station exec?" reaction

Sacramento is a gigantic shithole. This is almost certainly stray bullets from gang shit perpetrated by various blacks or browns.
Normally I'd agree but this is a larger city in California, there's next to no punishment or chance of getting caught for crime. It's like one notch above Portland. Likely just an upset libtard or two.

Some footage of the bullet holes:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Police in Sacramento are investigating a shooting at ABC10 that took place on Friday afternoon.

The shots were fired from outside the building into the lobby.

People were inside the building, but nobody was hurt.

"At this time, I don't have any suspect information to release, and I don't know the motive," Sacramento Police Department Spokesperson Officer Anthony Gamble said. "I don't know if this was targeted or a random act. But what I can tell is our detectives are on scene, they're going to be conducting a follow-up."

It's not clear how many shots were fired, but it appears at least three rounds hit the lobby window.

The shooting was reported just after 1:30 p.m.

"We're going to figure out who's responsible for this," Gamble said. "Fortunately, we haven't had a lot of attacks on our media partners. We would like to keep it that way. This is unacceptable behavior. To those that may have been responsible for this, I hope you see this, we're not going to stop looking for you."

Recent Controversy
On Thursday, a group of protesters gathered outside the building in response to the ABC network suspending late-night host Jimmy Kimmel over remarks about conservative activist Charlie Kirk's assassination.

The station had received numerous complaints.

ABC10 is an affiliate of ABC but not owned by the network. It is owned by TEGNA.

After the shooting TEGNA released a statement saying, "We can confirm that shots were fired into our station at KXTV earlier today. While details are still limited, importantly all of our employees are safe and unharmed. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement and have taken additional measures to ensure the continued safety of our employees."

Remember that one guy from Louisville who shot up a bank because he was a commie retard and he additionally wanted to prove that it was too easy to get guns in the USA?

This smells of that. "I'm mad at you because the TV man says and also I shouldn't be allowed to own firearms!"
Was he counted as left wing violence in that cato study? (probably not)

That remind me of "Whatcha doin rabbi" toon done by A Wyatt Mann. Imagine what if it was true? Did some security cameras worked properly the night the shooter shot the tv station?
