As I said on another thread: he's like a nastier version of Jerry Lewis, with far less talent. The stereotypically-nerdy Jewish boy trying to be funny, and just coming off as desperate and pathetic.
I don't recall laughing -- or even chuckling -- a single time during my (thankfully) limited exposure to his ouevre.

The sad thing is that Sandler has proven he can make good movies and he's even a good songwriter sometimes, Happy Gilmore and Hotel Transylvania were good. But he just doesn't give a shit, he's like the Dobson of the movie industry.
