A fair amount of nerds are angry at the concept that in the early to mid 2000s you could make jokes about racial groups and people were alright with it. They're outright saying they think Morgan Webb was doing 1488 shit by saying China would replace us. It's gay, and they're really annoying. I'm sorry Americans used to think JRPGs are effeminate, which they are.

I don't care that X-Play, a comedy show, made jokes about Japan. It's embarrassing seeing a bunch of white people get this up in arms over it. Japanese people will live knowing Adam Sessler thought a guy's name sounded like "sake".

20 years ago, you could actually ignore Japan because America still had somewhat of a culture. I never watched a single anime or read manga as a kid and I'm glad I did that. Most western otaku are the ones that are to blame for the internet sucking now, to be quite honest. Most modern neo-nazis and communists are some form of anime dork. Every troon loves Evangelion and Lain. There's something to be said about that.

Yeah, I don’t care so much about the bad jokes so much as the ones doing them are the moral grandstanding egomaniacs like Sessler who would eagerly do the same to anyone he disliked.

In all sincerity I'm the last person who should write an argument on behalf of Milton. In fact my entire knowledge of Milton is the scene in "Animal House" where Donald Sutherland calls him boring. Indeed, but I'm sure the mentality they had was "If we can just do this the right way..."
Of course, the "right way" for them was twitch streams, shitty marketting (even when it died, I saw people wondering what the new G4 even was, a twitch stream or a real TV channel?), and muh diversity.

No one stopped to think that the ship sailed. Twitch, despite its flaws, is miles better than what G4 could offer in the 2020s.
You'd think that the second failure of G4 would humble Sessler a bit, but no. Gotta own those gamers!

If the past is anything to go by, she'll probably just ignore it like she's ignored so many other bullshit internet drama fests. She's too busy actually playing video games and working in the industry.
