I am surprised Sessler is so boring that this is the news that took this thread from 34 pages to 35. Not a high number.
I guess Sessler's buffoonery and sensitivity are grossly mundane. Which fits his long expired and stiflingly unremarkable role in video game journalism/commentary (not a place with high standards).

I hope this management fad of 'trashing the audience' that must've been all the rage at MBA schools 5 years ago is nearly over. This shock marketing garbage just doesn't work. I don't agree with those that say G4 would've been any better off if it had fired Frosk and Sessler right away, cause it's one of the most obviously doomed projects since GB2016. Disney seems to be in full gear though with She-hulk and Little Mermaid. If they stop then you know the trend is over.

He was a staple on G4 for years and the fact that he dropped off the fucking planet at the same time as the network isn't a coincidence. The guy was a moron well before he could use politisperging as an excuse, he was the poster child of giving good reviews to games he particularly liked the devs or staff of, and to top it off he looks like a bald emaciated GreatValue Woody Harrelson. Frosk wasn't mad at how people weren't sexualizing her, it's just the mirror rantings of someone chosen to be next to Adam at his lowest.

I think it says something that the rebirth of G4 was the biggest thing to happen in Sessler's life in years, and we still probably spent more time in this thread talking about Frosk than him. Even now, we are talking about Frosk and not so much about Adam.
 
I skipped a few pages, is it too late for a "Adam Sellout" joke? Well, it hardy matters. It's weird to think all the "hot chicks" of G4 were generally the ones passionate about entertainment (or at least not-self loathing enough to enjoy covering it and making money). Fake Gamer Girls? The more and more time is spent looking back on this era, fake gamer bros seem to have been more of an issue.

Sessler always struck me as a guy who hates how he got famous. He thought there was something bigger better coming for him...and there just wasn't. Some people would just be like "Well...guess games are my thing now" and throw themselves into it. This retard just spent years seething over it, hoping for something more. It must have been so humiliating to come back to G4.

I can't agree with this one hard enough. Adam has the same energy as those video game journalist who so clearly wanted to be writing for the New York Times but couldn't even pass for their local newspaper.
