Adam and Will (as well as many of their ilk) refer to Gamergate the same way the Nazis used to refer to the Jews, or any hate group does to the target of its ire - their enemies are simultaneously drooling, subhuman idiots but also dangerous master manipulators who are a threat to the entire world.

If Gamergate are just stupid basement-dwelling neckbeard trolls, how did they somehow take over the US government? How did a bunch of idiot incels with no friends and no money and no life somehow defeat the entire games industry, the entire games journalism industry, the UN, the entire DEI industry, then take over politics and decide the outcome of the presidential, house and senate elections?

They can't be gurning retards AND sinister masterminds at the same time. Pick one.

It's very entertaining to watch his mental gymnastics as he simultaneously ties to maintain that gamers are the worst people ever while coping that he spent the best decades of his life working for them. He's thrown his life away but he's too egotistical to admit it, so he just snorts coke and rages incoherently.

He's so angry and totalizing in his political beliefs that he's just uptight about everything. Obsessing over what his 13-year-old godson (great personal information to post online as a combative politics guy btw) is playing. Can't he remember the simple fact that games are supposed to be fun? Has he totally forgotten what fun is and how it can loosen a person up? Make life a little easier to live? He's become so deranged that I really don't know if he's felt fun in a long, long time.
