I'm sure it still chaps Phil's ass and brings him nightmares to this day. And the Nemesis is a good blaster. I love mine. But I love my modded Prometheus more. Runs on 3S LiPo and has a Rhino feed motor. It'll empty the hopper (which has twice the capacity of the Nemesis) in less than a minute. I believe the Nemesis and Prometheus have about a 12 BPS cyclic rate, but with LiPos and the Rhino motor mine is closer to 20 BPS.

And yeah, the Prometheus sounds like an absolute monster. I actually don't do competitive nerf - only reason I even own a Nemesis is because I was thrifting one day and the last store I visited before coming home had a big pile of free stuff that all customers could take an item out of if they bought something at the register. Somehow in that pile, I found a fully functional Nemesis (with fully loaded D battery tray) that was only missing the ammo and had a little scrape damage on the nose ornament - it was exponentially more valuable than the total of the items I'd actually bought. I keep it around because it looks awesome and it's a great reference for heavy rifles in the sci-fi novel I'm writing.
