Phil's ignorance on every topic he claims interest in has always been pretty funny. He literally has nothing but endless time on his hands that he could use to research the topics he claims he's interested in so he doesn't sound like an absolute mongoloid and look like a blithering fool, but of course he doesn't. He's the kind of person that would rather be lazy and blissfully ignorant rather than put even a little effort into making himself more knowledgeable.

I think it’s all to do with the nature of his autistic fixations. What he’s fixated on with his mall ninja gear is the idea of looking like a badass. But he has no interest in actual combat, so he half-asses it without looking into why and how the stuff he wastes his tugboat on is used. It also explains why he makes bizarre missteps like tying in bicycles and imaginary friends.

With other fixations, like road signs, he’s much more focused on the detail because it’s the thing itself that interests him.

I checked out that latest ADF video about him harassing some old vlogger lady, he really hasn't changed one bit huh? ngl, really makes me nostalgic all of a sudden.

I really like it when lolcows never change, like JustinRPG among others. They remain as timeless pieces of a long gone era that must be protected at all costs- in the sense one would maintain an endangered Zoo animal.

Back when he was first getting into his Autismlandia power fantasy and IIRC still had a positive view of Israel and the IDF, he had a notebook full of drawings of the various military and paramilitary weapons, equipment and clothing of the ADF. A lot of it was a one to one copy of equipment and weapons the IDF used during the early and mid Cold War (FALs, Galils, Uzis, etc.) and it was clear Phil had actually taken some time to research this stuff as a way to do some world building for his imaginary nation.

A lot of it was a one to one copy of equipment and weapons the IDF used during the early and mid Cold War (FALs, Galils, Uzis, etc.) and it was clear Phil had actually taken some time to research this stuff as a way to do some world building for his imaginary nation.

He did ribbons for military medals too. Most of them were palette swapped Irsaeli ones.

I remember Jordan, and I did somewhat doubt their strict veracity. I always had the feeling that they were trying to deflect attention from themselves by throwing us tasty morsels on Phil. But, I didn't interact with them.
