Fucksake, look at that ridiculously massive, fat head and bloated face stuffed into that balaclava (not to mention the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome eyes)! It looks like an over-ripe cantaloupe mellon stuffed into some old lady's stocking to make some kind of grotesque half-assed scarecrow.

And, yeah, it's awfully suspicious that Phil's Ain't-ifa Supper Slopper costume is in such immaculate shape when he claims to always be "patrolling the streets" and getting into scuffles with Nazis. It's almost like Phil is a lying coward who never leaves his apartment.

There’s an alternate theory I have that’s going to sound really autistic but hear me out.

In some version of the Marvel Universe that predates ADF being a well known cow, there was a villain named Coldsteel. That was literally a Robotic Joseph Stalin from hell. He did mention it once too. But maybe that was Zyklon fucking with him. Anyway maybe he saw the Coldsteel thing years later and made a connection.

The whole "Been mocked for being too smart" thing could only be one of two scenarios: Normal people were patronizing Phil like a small child to make him feel good about himself (Wow! You sure are smart! Just look how smart you are!) and Phil took it as jealous mockery because he's a fucking idiot and literal re-tard, or they were being sarcastic with him and he couldn't tell it was sarcasm because Autism. But there's no way in Hell anyone mocked Phil because they actually thought he was intelligent. It becomes instantly clear the moment anyone meets Phil that if brains were gun powder, he wouldn't have enough to blow his nose.

Depressingly, I agree, just with so much happening, and so many outlets for his infinite energy, they must be champing at the bit for something to glom onto.
