Phil seems a little confused here.
Call-out culture is something you can see a lot in SJW circles. Around here, the Assigned Male thread is particularly rich in examples. It's when one SJW calls another one out for not being right-on enough. Like, when a person writes about difficulties faced by disabled people and another calls them out for not talking about the specific difficulties faced by disabled PoCs. Usually it's a way of asserting superiority in the SJW community. We tend to call it "eating their own." The more reasonable members of SJW circles hate it because every point gets dragged down into stupid arguments and ego-stoking.
Calling someone out for, e.g. pretending to be a disabled Latin transwoman when they are actually an able-bodied white man

Well, when Toren is along for a free ride and the Spud blows upwards of three hundred dollars (that we know about) in the first week of the month, and has plans to go and get another tattoo from Tattoo 13 in Oakland the beginning of next month, there's a good chance of it.
Or it oculd be the simple fact that the apartment is a hoarders paradise and only growing worse with each passing day and Toren is at wits end.

Given that they're both massive egotists, I would imagine that a relationship is pretty annoying in itself. One claims to have a DID attack, the other gets pissed off because it's taking attention away from his dysphoria attack.
Or Slingblade might just be pissed off because Phil shared a load of posts in which we point out that Toren's an alcoholic freeloading man in drag.

There is, both are attention whores so if they can drop something into a normal conversation to get sympathy they'll do it.

Torren tend's to have a few too many to drink and then get's angry with Phil and then the argument's start over minor pettiy things, the place being too messy or not having in any food either one of them really likes etc.
Torren is by any measure more worldly than Phil and is able even when he's staggering around and slurring his words to insult Phil in way's Phil's not really used to in Phils supposed safe space (i.e. the flat) so he can't run away from it like he used to and the bedroom is Torrens so he can't retreat into a private space for a break any more either so things get worse.
I think that this is the reason for the other night's "Kiwi Patrol" Phil get's that upset he has to go out for a bit and tard around making up a fantasy that he's patrolling the streets looking evil doers to rain justice down upon like some flabby autism riddled batman to make himself feel powerful and to escape the reality that's his home life.
